Details of the Tokyo Ueno Area :)
I think overlooking details like these is very easy in Tokyo since everything is so big and crowded and since I certainly didn’t perceive and appreciate them as much on my first visit as I’m doing now :)
Walking from Asakusa to Ueno proved to be very rewarding as I could find a small shrine along the way which sported beautiful carvings and architecture :3 It provided a very nice scenery and I was glad I made the decision to skip using the Ginza line :) Although Ginza line is a sight in and of itself ;) It is actually the first operational subway line in Japan and is still using the original tunnel that was used when it first opened for service :)
Another rewarding thing at the end of a walk like this is seeing Shinobazu pond in Reno Koen :) It is wonderful to see the lotus blossom during August ꒰ღ˘‿˘ற꒱⃛
I like this sign :) It is basically a sieve that was adapted to hold a shop sign :) It was probably used to sort charcoal :)
A short update :) As you might have noticed I’m kind of writing less on this blog (>_<;) Recently I’m quite busy organising my trip to Japan and helping friends :) So time is at a premium for me right now…
I’m doing well though :) I like my job and I’m generally happy and content :)
About my trip to Japan :) I want to visit friends along the way and will stay in the following cities: -Tokyo: 22. to 31. August -Nagoya: 31. August to 04. September -Kanazawa: 04. to 09. September -Kyoto: 09. to 19. September
I wish I could stay for a longer period of time (-_-) I’ll bring some CVs with me so maybe I can find a job and fulfil my dream of staying in Japan for a long time :) I will visit many more towns during some day trips that I’m planning to make :) Maybe I can find someone I love along the way (sorry if that sounds corny (>_<;)
I’ll write an article detailing the places I’m wanting to see and my schedule :) I wish everyone a great weekend with sweet dreams and fluffy pillows and blankets (^-^)/
