Meet my shiny Beldum! I haven’t settled on a name yet but I know a shiny as special as them will definitely get one!

Believe it or not this is Arlo’s Beldum from the PoGo Go Rocket boss fights. Like you I’ve fought him dozens of times but one day the shadow Beldum shined! His stats weren’t good enough to stay in PoGo even after purification so I brought him here.

Shiny Beldum is a grail shiny for a lot of people (or at least their evolutions tend to be). He wasn’t even on my radar initially because I tend to go after the animal-like Pokémon. But shiny Beldum is really gorgeous. The finished steel with gold accents is really beautiful.

I was a little worried when I went to take pictures that Beldum would be a bit boring. I was happy to be proven wrong! For a Pokémon that essentially is a floating hunk of metal, Beldum has a ton of personality! Playing fetch with him was so unbelievably cute!

If you are looking for a shiny Beldum you can try a variety of methods including overworld hunting, Masuda method egg hatching and if you’re ok with his evolution, it’s a known shiny option in the Dynamax Cave.

It’s possible to get it from PoGo like I did but shiny hunting in PoGo with intent is close to impossible unless the Pokémon you want regularly spawns in your area. Definitely use those fire Pokémon to your advantage against Arlo though so that you are maximizing your encounters, and therefore odds of getting a shiny. Happy hunting! ✨
