Last night I got a shiny Cutiefly after hatching only 17 eggs! I'm so happy!

I am using the Masuda Method to hatch a shiny Pokemon for the first time, while using the... pattern? that exists in ultra moon.

Me: hatching egg 40: this isn't gonna work is it?

Egg 47: shiny magikarp

I've reset and am now trying for a shiny Oshawott (with the hopes of being able to transfer it into Legends of Arceus). Let's hope this works.
