just gonna mention that like, a few months ago me and my friends started up some in-character blogs for our weirdass long-running homestuck oc (plus some other fandom stuff) RP and started reblogging from your blog to those blogs. I was halfway worried that you'd be weirded out by that, but seeing as you're like, tumblr famous with your cool pony comics, I'm assuming that's just sort of a drop in the bucket at this point.

in case it wasn't apparent your blog is cool and your art and gamedev stuff is cool (though holy shit how do you reblog so many things in one day??)

Haha, thank you!! I'm glad you like my stuff. :D and yeah I actually don't even think I've seen the stuff you're worried about so don't sweat it. My notifs are always popping off all the time so I miss a lot of stuff. and I reblog a lot of stuff in one day because I think posts are cool and at this point i'm fine with subjecting folks to my reblog sprees >:)

if you have, I haven't seen them yet. I'll ask Nick if they can use their light powers to locate them or something (even though they tell me their light powers don't work that way like come on what's the use of light powers if you can't find a pair of glasses with them, let alone sunglasses?)

I’m thinking about starting a project to make a 3d collectathon platformer, preferably with an N64/PS1-esque aesthetic. The thing is, I’ve never worked in 3d game design before, only 2d (and the platformers I’ve made were always kinda wonky, one of them even having a restart level button in case the player gets stuck in a platform, which happened often with the moving ones). 

Does anyone have any tips on where to start? I’m pretty sure learning how to use Unity would probably be somewhere in there, but I need to learn how to properly make low-poly models that’ll actually work too (I’ve only made cruddy mis-shapen ones in sketchup, mostly for drawing references and no actual export use). I’m planning on using my days off and freetime after work to work on it, probably by myself.

So anyone have any tips, links, advice to give me?

actually no it's in a cave under the lake at the edge of town. Take the rose to Heir Island if the code was successful and only then.

You will know of the code's success if the printer at my house gets a printing job to print out a choice code and a description of a few associated conditions regarding that choice.

If the printer gets jammed, it'll probably beep a lot until it gets fixed, and then try to print out the thing. I'm pretty sure it'll have enough ink, I made sure to check the cartridges and get extras just in case, tricolor and black ink, and yes I made sure they were the right brand and model for my printer.

You know what screw the printer. I'll just set up a tumblr post to be posted with a confirmation thing somehow, that way nobody has to deal with stupid printers. In fact, I'll just make this message the confirmation so you'll know for certain that you need to start on that quest anyways.

So... yeah. Go find the thing in the submerged cave. Be careful please and remember to bring scuba gear for the initial dive, and to wear plenty of warm layers for the freezer room later on in the cave. Maybe also bring snacks just in case you guys get hungry partway through the thing. And a screwdriver. Not sure what you'll need it for, but it's always a good idea to have one on hand.
