TAG. YOU’RE IT. The rules are to state 10 random facts about yourself. Then, go to your 10 favorite blogs and tell them they’re it. :)
I.. oh! Cool! :)What ten facts can I mention.. hm...
My dad is a street performer and is working with a circus at the moment. When I was younger I also wanted to work in a circusy kind of job, like being a magician or working in silks.
My go to random fact about me is the fact that I have an allergy to acrylic acid. Probably. I had an allergic reaction to a plaster (bandaid) and I have to be careful about washing off acrylic paints. It's nothing severe.
My hair has been a rainbow of colours! I dyed my hair first in August 2009 in Edinburgh during the Fringe festival. My mum convinced me to dye it with Henna and it turned a naturalish orange. Since then I've had purple, pink, red, yellow (from red washing out slowly), blue, and now finally green!
My "identifier" has always been my hair. When I was in Elementary is was my long hair that I always kept in plaits or loose, and now in College it's the crazy colours of it.
I used to HATE it when people played with my hair. I really, really did NOT like it. I thought it was really weird that some people liked it because man it was so uncomfortable. But now that my hair is short I don't mind so much? Things change I guess.
I'm a picky eater. I don't like soups and the only sauce I use is ketchup. Even then I don't like ketchup on a lot of things that others do, like pasta or "plokkfiskur" which is a kind of mashed potato dealie but with fish instead of potato. Yech.
I love liquorice, but only Icelandic liquorice. It's sweet and delicious but other liquorices I've tasted are bitter or just weird. Blech.
I've been to 10 countries. They are: Iceland, England, Wales, Scotland, France, Holland, Germany, Switzerland, Denmark, and Australia. I've also driven through Belgium, and come close to the border to Italy. I only count France and Germany because I spent a day or more there, even though I didn't do that much. So maybe they don't count.
The first song I remember as being my favourite song is "In The Shadows" by The Rasmus. Imagine that. A young girl around nine. Loves mermaids and fairies. Rocking out to that song. Yep.
My dad told me once that he thought I was going to be a goth at some point. He wasn't far off, I loved the goth clothing style (I still think it's pretty cool). But yeah, no, that didn't happen and I doubt it ever will. I own a black and purple tutu though.
Wow those were lengthy! Now to find ten people ahhhhh hh hhh
