Actual Story of Twilight:
So me and a friend had a philosophical epiphany last night, and it makes Twilight so much better and we want to write this fanfic. Edward was never a vampire. He was trying to come out to Bella about being gay. That's why he sparkled. But Bella misunderstood in a Sherlock best man/best friend kind of way and thought he was a vampire. And the real point of the whole series, the true hidden meaning, is Edward's struggle to reveal his true identity and preference. At the end of the new and improved series, Edward and Jacob get together. It's perfect. I ship this so hard.
