despite really liking both cc!roier and cc!cellbit a lot i always thought that q!spiderbit really boring.. 😭 i wanted to like it cuz i know a lot of other fans did but it just didn’t have anything THAT interesting going for it imo

i have a theory that all of the ooc spiderbit/guapoduo fanfics are from ex dteam fans who felt like they couldnt write dnf anymore but didnt actually bother with following the qsmp because why else would cellbit be blond in so many fics?!

I like that there’s a good amount of q!spiderbit cannibalism fanfics… but I wish I could see more where it’s the other way around because q!Cellbit strikes me as a freak who would love to get eaten by q!Roier- normally he’d be the one doing the killing and devouring but with his husband he’d let that man be his exception
Please ignore my previous unanoned- Spiderbit as a ship is something I'm neutral on, but MAN the fandom makes me dislike it. Not only does it often clog the other Ao3 qsmp ship tags for reach, but sometimes they even tag other ships in art too? And also the guapoverse thing is so strange on twt, it's meant as a way to distance themselves from the QSMP as if Cellbit and Roier aren't friends with Quackity? Idk man. It's bananas.
I adore Spiderbit, love the characters and love the ship... but I cannot bring myself to care for the alternate versions of them people ship. It just feels too far from what I fell in love with and much more... idk shallow. I usually love shitty fucked-up ships, but I just think f!Cell and c!Roier are way less interesting or compelling then q!Cellbit and q!Roier. I just don't get the hype with shipping their past/alternate selves.
