thinking about 5undy again.

I was reading some tumblr posts and saw people recounting that time fundy bought a ring for 5up. I watched that vod the week it came out. It's weird to think that was so long ago. It feels very recent but also like a distant memory.

I think this is getting less and less about 5undy and more about the constant passage of time idk.

Sometimes I wish people were more parasocial about them because I am chronically nosy and would love to know what happened, but it's probably for the better that weren't.

My position on shipping discourse is that the focus on shipping in the MCYT fandom is extremely limiting and forces innovative stories into comfortable fanfic-friendly molds that squeeze all the novelty and freshness out of those stories. Why is shipping necessary on fuckin Searching for a World That Doesn't Exist. Go do something inventive with these stories man, the power of fandom is unlimited! Or make new media yourself. Use those OCs for something.

I feel like the Bdubs' wife situation is a bit different from the Skizzleman situation.

Skizzleman said some stupid shit and people started paying more attention to the fact that one of his moderators was hardcore MAGA. He apologized (in a pretty bland way) and "fired" said mod.

Bdubs is married to a MAGA person. That woman is the mother of his children. They endured the loss of a child together. You don't just break these kinds of bonds overnight, he can't fire her from his life.

I don't think that Bdubs is MAGA, he strikes me more as a centrist guy like Skizz, but I wonder if he feels conflicted over his wife's magaposting. Probably not, given that he is not an immigrant or any persecuted minority. Ideally he would speak to her about those posts, but I don't think he ever will.

i genuinely think the unstable smp fanbase on tiktok may be one of the unfunniest communities ever. okay ever is a stretch, and i don't use twitter so I don't know if its as bad on there, but the MOST of the people on tiktok reuse the same jokes over and over again, turn a blind eye to microaggressions, and constantly bring up a cc's unstable character when they are doing anything else. sorry im not even that into uu anymore though so im just being a hater...

Help i have a vivid memory of a mildly big multigaming youtube starting their first MINECRAFT series and in the first episode they said "and you may think we'll, SMP, what is that?
