I THINK MIA HAS ALREADY CHOSEN ONE FOR THEM, AND delivers it straight to their door, and if they aren’t home, she sits it on their porch with a note and a heart, and I don’t think Emmeline and Edgar ever go pumpkin picking until they have children and they insist on making it a family thing, and in that case, until the kids get old enough to choose, Edgar picks it.carves the pumpkin: They both do, totally. They make it a project, and god damn Mia, why the FUCK did you choose such a hard pumpkin?? So they both pick at it, Edgar scoops out the guts, and Emmeline makes sure the eyes are symmetrical. He fucks up the grin, and she fixes it by making it have a toothy smile.gets scared and clings the other in a haunted house: I think Emmeline is more susceptible to jumpscares, but if there’s like, a creepy and gory scene, he freaks out about it more. So they walk through the house arm in arm, with Emmeline jumping every so often, and Edgar’s free hand is at his mouth, and they always just rush the end. has the matching costume idea: I think Edgar does as a joke, because he usually just puts a skull mask on, but I think after like their third year together, he pays attention to what she’s going to be, and plans his costume around hers, and it goes on like that until they’re married, and then they both wear skulls masks bc Mr. and Mrs. Bones. :)))))makes a cozy bed-fort to cuddle in: Emmeline totally does, and Edgar makes them tea and hot cider and popcorn (bc he can’t fuck those up), and she makes sure his side of the bed has the nice, soft pillows and she has the firmer ones and she honestly just makes they most perfect bed-fort. steal’s the other’s candy: Edgar’s bitch ass does because he’s a giant shit, but it’s okay, she doesn’t mind, and he shares his candy with her, and it’s cute. I think when they have kids, Edgar also steals from their candy bags and Emmeline kinda fake-frowns at him but is actually kind of glad, bc the kids should not be eating that much candy.accidentally gets lost in a corn maze: I’d say Edgar does, but if there’s a lot of people, he might lose Emmeline, so she ends up lost, and he walks around shouting her name until he finds her. Because of these experiences, when they take their kids, they don’t dare put them down to walk, until the kids are five or six, and Mia has yet to tell them about the time she and baby EMD got lost in the maze. tells spooky stories to scare the other: I think Edgar starts telling her spooky stories, to which Emmeline listens to and is nodding her head and like “Oh goodness, so spooky, but my turn” and then she starts telling him about the fucking shit she sees at the hospital and by the end of it all, Edgar is wayyy more freaked out by it than she is.collects cool-looking leaves: Edgar picks them and puts them in his and her hair, and even goes so far to make a leaf crown for himself one day (thanks Mia), to which Emmeline giggles at him for because although the leaves are very pretty, their shades do not compliment him at all, so he puts it on her, and because she’s darker than he is, the crown looks absolutely divine on her. He takes pictures of her, and lets the crown dry, and they make it a wreath to put on their door.
