"Remember when we couldn't wait for him/her totalk?"
Sawyer sat on the couch, a huge smile on herface as she watched Augustus playing with their son. She had just gotten homefrom one of her night classes and was glad to see that he was still awake andthat she got to enjoy a little time with him before he had to go to bed. Theirlittle boy was deep in conversation with his father about his dinosaur toys andthough they couldn’t quite tell exactly what he was saying, most of his wordswere starting to become clear. “Oh, I know. Now he never stops talking.” Shesaid, her son giving them a look of pure annoyance as he was interrupted. “Andthat attitude. I have no idea where he gets that from.” She teased him, grinning over at Augustus as she got up and moved to sit on the floor withthem, placing a quick kiss to his lips before picking up her son and placinghim in her lap. Sawyer listened to him as he continued on about his dino’s, thesmile never leaving her lips as she thought about how she didn’t think thingscould get any better for her.
"I have to take the baby to get shots tomorrow."
James had to admit he was kind of embarrassedabout how his heart raced at Rayne’s words. He hated needles so much in thefirst place and the thought of his baby boy having to have horrible pointymetal shoved into his arms honestly made him want to cry. It wasn’t going to beeasy to watch and a part of him wished they could just cancel the appointmentand not take him at all but he knew the shots were a necessity no matter howhorrible they were. “Alright, I’ll make sure that Blythe has everything coveredat work so I can be there.” He told her, taking their son from her and kissingall over his face. “You have no idea what you’re in for, buddy. I’m probablygoing to cry more than you are.” He said with a frown as he cuddled the baby tohim, and looked over at his wife. “Are you sure that we actually have to dothis? Can’t we be those weird parents that don’t believe in vaccines?” He askedlooking back at the baby, pouting as he once again imagined how horribletomorrow was going to be.
"He/she won't stop crying!"
Lucas had no idea what he was doing and he ranboth of his hands through his hair out of frustration. Sara had been crying fortwo hours straight now and anything they seemed to try wasn’t working. “I’m quite aware of that, Ava!” He snapped ather before he could stop himself. “I’m sorry… I didn’t mean to yell at you.”Lucas said, frowning and taking Sara from her arms and tried to sooth her. Wasthis how it was always going to be? They had only had her home for a coupledays and she had a spent a lot of that time crying. He knew it was because shewasn’t used to them and that it would take her some time to get accustomed toher new home but he couldn’t help but imagine that this was how it was alwaysgoing be and how she wasn’t going to ever get used to them. When she stillwouldn’t stop crying he handed her back to Ava, watching as she too took a turnat trying to sooth her as he sat on the couch and put his face in his hands. Healmost didn’t notice when the room got quite and he lifted his head to see thatSara was now asleep with her head on Ava’s shoulder and sunk back into thecouch. “You are so amazing, Ava. I forgot what quite sounded like.” He teasedslightly, shaking his head.
"We're going to be parents again."
It took asecond for what Rydel had said to register to him, but when it did he jumpedoff the couch and grabbed her into his arms. “We are?” He asked, spinning heraround and kissing on her neck. “This is so great, Delly!” He told her, morethan excited to hear that they were going to have another baby. The thing thatJaxon loved more than anything was his children and the thought of having morealways made him happy. They had been trying for a little while and they haddiscussed that if she got pregnant this was going to be their last baby and hecouldn’t help but pray that it was going to be a boy this time. After three daughtershe needed himself a boy and he pulled away from the embrace to place his handon Rydel’s stomach, leaning down a little to talk to the baby. “You have noidea how happy I am for you, but let’s talk for a second here. If you’re a girlI’m of course going to love you more than anything. But let’s discuss how muchfun there would be if you were a boy.” He teased, standing back up straight ashe wrapped his arms around his wife. “This one is going to be a boy. I can feelit.” He told her with a grin.

[text] Because I’m picking out a wedding dress obviously. What else would I be doing? I look beautiful just so you know. I think I found the perfect one.
[text] Okay no my sister dragged me here to help her pick one out.
[text] Everyone keeps referring to me as her fiance. Please come rescue me, Rayne.
[text] Are you pregnant?
[text] Why would you ask that?
[text] Did my brother say something to you? I’m going to kill him.
[text] Shit, Logan I was going to tell you...

[text] Noel, I swear you’re going to be late to your own damn funeral.
