lee u absolute beast thank u for the attention ily
this is long sorry
baby’s breath: about how many fics have you completed?
not including countless drabbles and AU’s i’ve done and looking back through my fandoms and what have posted all around the internet, the math comes back as 36 total fics. which is not as many as i first thought.
(some of these are multi-chaptered tho, so)
dahlia: what time of day/night is best for you to write?
i always get better the later in the day it is
tulip: what is your favorite writing blog on tumblr that you feel deserves more followers and reads?
it has always been and always will be you, lee. you’re. so good? you’re my goddamn smut goals and i will always admire you and your work. ily
lily: do you listen to music when you write? if so, do you have a specific playlist for it?
i listen to it when im on my computer and writing! i have a playlist on youtube thats mostly instrumental songs bc i cannot write to a song with words in it unless i know it by heart
poppy: do you write your fics right here on your tumblr drafts? if not, where?
i always write on google docs bc i go cross platform with almost everything i write. plus tumblr is hellsite with saving things
orchid: do you prefer to write one shots or multi part fics?
one shots pls. you get in, the problem happens, it’s solved. i especially like writing things like digital intimacy where it’s on the longer side but still a one shot
lotus: how many drafts do you currently have?
as in like, writing drafts? works in progress? bc i honestly dont wanna count them. there’s A Lot Of Them. im actively working on three, so im gonna say 3
lavender: what is the most important thing to you as a writer?
this is a really vague question? but i guess imagination. sometimes the story just needs u to take an idea and run with it and stretch it until it can’t be stretched no more. and a strong basis on logical, a ground to stand on. you gotta know how much you can stretch an idea but moreso in the context of how much you can stretch an idea and have the characters still be with you. bc a lot of story relies on how the characters interact.
so, imagine away but keep an eye on how logically the characters are acting, how they’re feeling, what their breaking point is, what they absolutely cannot compromise on. it’s a lot about Dat Character Life
