Spoiler Alert-
She walked along the campus. It was night time. It wasn't unusual for her to be out at this time of night. No, no of course it wasn't. What with how she was created... She paused in her steps, gazing at the stars. Why yes... they were lovely tonight.
Though, weren't they always lovely? To her they were. Some nights, they were hidden by toiling dark fluffy masses called clouds. Clouds were quite beautiful. At night, it seemed, that they were her enemy. She didn't know exactly why. But she felt that the stars were taken prisoner, captive, and that the clouds... that they were hiding something. It was odd, yes, but she had a certain intuition about things. And she was usually right.
A sharp rustling noise and footsteps sounded behind her. She turned her head and looked back. Nothing. As usual. But this time... this time, it was different. The sound was peculiar. It had a different ring to it. Starry found herself pondering what was different.
Wait. She wasn't at the All Fandom Academy at all. Star opened her eyes. She was still in the Heavenly Plane. She blinked. A man was on top of her, his palm on her chest where her heart would be. She studied his unusual disheveled features. His orange-ish fiery hair shone in the silver lighting of the plane. His eyes were closed. She did not know of their color yet.
He let out a breath shakily. It was only then that she remembered. "...R-Raiku?" His eyes flashed open. She was suddenly overcome with awe. "Starry," his voice was gruff with emotion. She was surprised. He seemed cold and emotionless. And she was astonished on how he looked like the twins, Kohru and Hikaru, from Ouran High School Host Club. Those boys were definitely dreamy.
Oh gosh. What if they were real and Raiku was a lost brother and and... TRIPLETS??? She'd faint if it were true. He looked at her curiously. Almost as if he could read her thoughts... he couldn't, could he? It was possible.
"Listen. I know it seems bad, alright? I know you're dying and I know it seems a little crazy--"
"A little? You have got to be kidding me."
"Fine. It is crazy. Its bat-shit from hell crazy. But I need you to listen. I'm sure this will turn out great. But I think there is a certain someone from down below who will help you... Because there /are/ ways you can live without a soul."
"Wh-what? You can't be cereal. I mean..."
"But I am serious." He snorted at her pun. "This person.. well, she's a great kid despite her circumstances."
"Circumstances? What do you mean?"
"Well, you'll find out sooner or later. I can't help you out there."
She let out a long sigh. "I trust you. Despite meeting you only--at least an hour ago." His only response was a smile. "She'll help you out soon enough. And she'll help you with your change as well... I know she will. Plus, I'll be around. You'd just have to call me." She nodded, biting on her lip.
"Well, would you look at that?" He got off of her and looked up at the sky. "What?" She stared upwards as well, blushing. "Its actually turning daylight in this place. That may be because of your influence." She snorted, "and how would that be?"
He could only smile gently. "It seems that only true beauty comes from the inside." And this was true. True beauty didn't come skin deep. It came from the inside and enveloped you in a warm blanket. The sun began to appear as the stars floated to the ground like pollen that had been shaken from a flower. Star smiled and let out a laugh. She trusted him and his word. She would be okay.
MEANWHILE.....
Back in the physical world at the All Fandom Academy in the infirmary, her body still laid on the floor. Blood seeped through her clothing at the location that you would call her heart. This wasn't at all usual.
Her body spasmed. That was definitely not usual at all. Something was changing.... and it was surely to attract a certain visitor. A visitor that could save her.
We'll have to find out what happens to precious Starry next time...
