Alright, so yeah. This is really a collection of stuff that has to do with boundaries and all that shit. It's in a tag in case I feel the need to update with more rules later. I guess the first thing to note is that I do not, under any circumstances do sexual shipping/RP. Yes, you might see some sexual humor that can even get explicit on some of my blogs. Yes, I'm 18 and I advertise that for the benefits of any minors who might not be comfortable with following a legal adult. This doesn't mean I'm comfortable with smut itself. The reasoning for this is simple: my brain's response to sexual shit varies depending on the day and there are times when I am so sex-repulsed that sexual shit can lead to nausea (and if my fluid degrees of sex-repulsion don't convince you, at least respect my emetophobia). I engage in humor because humor is easy to back out of. Smut is not so easy to back out of and so I refuse to write it for that reason. If you truly think that our characters MUST do the do and that it would be OOC for them to not do so, then it happens offstage. Please respect this. I am okay with polyamory shipping. I am totally down for it. Hell yes, let's have ALL the poly relationships in this joint. However, I am also well aware that several of my muses might not necessarily be comfortable with being in a poly relationship. This is something that will be played by ear. I would be VERY INTERESTED in seeing what kind of development said muses get in this sort of situation. However, I can't guarantee they'll end up being okay with poly shit. Just a fair warning now. While several of my muses would not knowingly cheat on a partner, I am okay with exploring a cheating dynamic provided any other muns involved have discussed this in depth and everybody is okay with it OOC. OOC comfort comes before IC drama, always and forever. As far as the cheating dynamic goes, it really depends on the muse. A Karkat or a Dave for instance would not be likely to do much as far as infidelity goes, unless the person who was cheating on their partner with them had them convinced that there was no partner. Blogs will NOT be multiverse to accommodate for shipping. While @tachyphrasiagalliard may become multiverse, that will be for plot/timeline stuff. I'd prefer to not have to keep track of a billion different timelines on all of my blogs just so I can ship a bunch of times. That would be chaos. I will only ship OCs with my canon characters if I am EXTREMELY impressed by them and their character design. Of course, the bottom line is that if you want to ship, ask. I just might be stricter with OCs. I'll be more lax with OCs wanting to ship with my OCs though. I'm a bit squicked out by major age differences. Sorry, being in a high school where there were seniors dating freshmen just kind of put me off that whole scene. The biggest age difference I am willing to do for ANY kind of shipping is two years or one solar sweep if we're talking about trolls. There are no exceptions, and depending on the age of the muse you want to ship wit, this rule might become stricter. One final note is that NO RELATIONSHIP IS PERFECT. While I'm not sure I'm okay with RPing a relationship that is outright abusive, what I am saying is that since people are flawed, relationships will also be flawed. Even partners with the healthiest relationship imaginable will fight from time to time. Disagreements happen; they are a part of life. They can lead to the relationship improving in the long run or falling apart. This is something that I would like anybody who wants to ship with my muse to keep in mind since it can lead to some wonderful character development.
