Hey! a classmate was wearing a LN shirt in class this morning and she recomended it and here I am!! your comic is sooo good but i have a question: why did you choose Paris as a setting? And coming from there, i'm actually surprised you didn't add Maghrebi, Vietnamese, or Sub Saharian Africans characters (eccept dev), which are very present communities in France and Paris...but still!! I really love all the characters and the diversity you added. Keep going :D!!

One simple reason actually. There’s always been something about Paris that has stayed with me since I went there? I just loved it a lot and when I was looking for a setting for Les Normaux I tought well why not Paris then?

As for the etnicity part of the question. I’m aware we might not be choosing the most present ones. We’re picking ones we find interesting or know more about. There’s no criteria really we want to be as open as we can. But hey! Who knows? Maybe the ones you mentioned will shop up eventually. :)

(btw fun fact: The blue guy, Fidele in S2 ep 1 is half Vietnamese! (He’s actually from Spain though not France haha)

personally I’m not sure about it, when he possessed Dipper he talked about “not possessing a body in a while”, but that could just be possessing in the same way he was possessing Dipper? or maybe he was human before....or was born in a human’s mind ( but I kinda go with the first option atm )

there have also been some people talking about the possibility of him having a sibling but Alex keeps saying they’re wrong??? but then everyone is like “DON’T FORGET !!! TRUST NO ONE!!!!” so im here like. hm.... I do like the fanart where Bill is shown with his “sibling” ( a blue crying triangle ;3; )
