August 4th - The Duchess of Cambridge launched an initiative between Baby Basics, Little Village and AberNecessities, and a variety of British brands and retailers, at Baby Basics UK, in Sheffield. Kensington Palace also released a photo of Catherine volunteering at a Baby Basics in King's Lynn, Norfolk

August 5th - The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge visited Barry Island, where they visited a number of tourist attractions. William and Catherine then travelled to Cardiff to visit Shire Hall Care Home

AMAIA KIDS | Despite the differing rules on face masks in England and Wales, and the fact they were outside, the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge chose to wear face masks when meeting with residents of Shire Hall Care Home, who were likely to be at a higher risk of catching Covid-19. Catherine’s face mask - the one she wore yesterday - was from Amaia Kids, with 15% of sales going to the NHS.

CARDIFF | The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge travelled from Barry Island to Cardiff to meet residents of Shire Hall Care Home in person

SHIRE HALL CARE HOME | The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge visited Shire Hall Care Home, in Cardiff, after playing bingo with them during lockdown. During the visit, a resident, Joan, told the couple they had done a “bloody shitty job” at being bingo callers and asked William if Catherine was his assistant!
