Gandalf hummed his way down the trail towards the Shire. He was looking forward to the Hobbit hospitality, for it had rained most his journey and the bottoms of his robes were trailed with mud as were his shoes. He could use a warm home and good food. The day was hanging into mid afternoon and he expected most hobbits to be resting after a meal at the time but that didn't mean it was surprising to see the messy of curly black hair out in the forrest rather then at home.
"And what will your uncle say when he finds you out in the mud, Frodo Baggins?"
Winter is coming

Luscious lands lay at her feet, but she dare not enter them. Fields were neatly maintained, colors slowly fading against the last of autumn days. She knew the bounty of the summer had been plentiful, with orchards producing red apples and pears that would keep for a long time still. Or be made into the best jams of the whole region.
She had always admired the hobbit way of life. Simple, steadfast. They seemed to be able to enjoy that which she could not, a home, hearth and comfortable life in the same place for their entire life.
Aneleth stooped to scratch her mighty cats ear „I know, you are tired as well and hungry. But we cannot just go in and make believe we are simple people… not even with this sweet little face of yours” she heard him purr like a kitten, but knew his jaws could have a mean bite. And his claws were certainly more damaging than ordinary cats, not in the least because he was more than twice their size.
On the ground she spotted some left over corn, very probably ment as food for the animals, and certainly not the sweet taste she so loved. But it was better than nothing, she thought, as her stomach rumbled. So she sat, at the edge of the field, waiting for dawn, thinking of a way to gain trust with one of these lovely inhabitants. Perhaps she could rest a little in one of the barns…
As darkness took over, they started to move, trying to stay off the road and looking for an empty shed or something that would shade them from the wind. The gnawing feeling of hunger growing, both inside her, as well as in the powerful mountain lion who was ever at her side.
To Imladris!
Coaxing Asfaloth a little faster Glorfindel leaned forward on the horses' back as the trees whipped by and his keen eyes looked about for any sign of trouble.
A dread had setted upon him some hours before. He'd been on the very edge of the valley, the bridge leading out of the Trollshaws and towards the lands of Men long ago looming large over the way and about to turn back and head towards Imladris, markers set along the way where he'd passed through but no sign of the party he's been sent out to find, Estel eluding even his senses, when he'd stopped. A darkness, old and full of malice was close too and instead of brooding on not finding anything he'd turned in the direction he'd felt it coming from and rode like the wind.
He was thankful that he knew every last corner of these lands and that Asfaloth did too, the stallion snorting and lowering his head, hooves pounding over branches and along the paths. A light tinkling accompanying them from the horses' harness and he came out of the gloom of a copse of trees into a clearing which was occupied with a group he couldn't have expected. The pair came to a halt, the elf looking down to see the Dunedin he'd been searching out and his unlikely companions, being made up of four Perian and their mount.

Frodo looked up at the dwarf and frowned. Two days? That was a long time. He couldn’t remember anything for a moment, but stared at the ceiling and tried to get his bearings. He was lying on a make-shift bed of some sort, in an room he didn’t recognize. “Where am I?” he asked. “And how did I get here?”
He tried to sit up, but there was a sharp pain in his shoulder and he lay back down. Then it came back to him. Most of it, at least. Leaving the Shire, the quest. He reached for the chain around his neck and sighed in relief to find the Ring was still there, at least. “Where are the others? Sam, Merry, Pippin? Do you know what happened to them?”
{ - Fili laughed under his breath and shook his head before reaching over and gently patting the halflings shoulder.
" Woah there little one. One step at a time. I promise all will be answered but you need rest at the moment. The wounds wont heal unless you keep still for the time being. "
He leaned back in his chair that sat next to the cot the halfling lay upon. Crossing his arms at his chest he lifted his pipe to his lips and inhaled before letting the smoke flow from his nostrils.
" Your company was ambushed by traveling Orcs. Gandalf has taken the other three halflings while I brought you here. I was requested by Gandalf to bring you here. There is someone here who can help heal you. Then I assure you, you shall be on your way. "

Beaderinc smiled when he saw the halfling walking through the streets.
"Master Hobbit, we do not often see your kind in Edoras." He greeted him. "What brings you here?"
