Furrball x Fifi Headcanons

-Furrball has gotten used to Fifi’s stench by now. In fact, it doesn’t bother him at all nowadays! Whenever someone points out Fifi…well, kinda stinks, Furrball will fiercely defend her and say “she smells normal. Maybe your nose isn’t working right.”

-On the second to last day of each month, Furrball gifts Fifi her own personalized mug. Why? Because he knows how much she likes them. Why the second to last day of each month? Because it was when they first started going on dates. 

-Fifi was the last one to accept Sweetie into her and Babs’ friend group SPECIFICALLY because of what she heard and saw of Sweetie’s actions towards Furrball. It was only when she saw that Sweetie was genuinely TRYING to change and be better did she slowly accept Sweetie. That being said, she has made it very clear to Sweetie that she will not hesitate to pummel her if Sweetie goes back on her word and is horrid towards Furrball again.

-Furrball and Fifi DO love going on dates! Sometimes, these dates consist of normal couple activities…other times, these dates consist of complete chaos (like playfully getting back at or scaring Furrball’s past tormentors). They ARE the Looney Tunes’ successors after all. 

-Speaking of dates, they like to go on double dates with Calamity and Shirley! Being that the two girls and two guys are best friends, it’s quite easy for them to align their schedules with each other. 

-Fifi has been teaching Furrball French! He’s…getting there slowly. He can communicate with her in French in short bursts though! 

-Fifi was absolutely HORRIFIED when she learned Furrball slept on the streets. Now, she personally makes sure he ALWAYS has a place he can go if he needs it. This has meant she has often taken him into her home personally and gave him food when he hadn’t had a meal in weeks. 

-Fifi sometimes uses her fans as a secret language to communicate with Furrball. He somehow understands each and every flirtation she makes with the fan (and blushes at the more…flirtatious they get). 

-Furrball has absolutely beatboxed for Fifi before. These improvised beatboxes are incredibly but subtly romantic in nature. People will think he’s just performing normally but he’s actually beatboxing the most heartfelt message ever for Fifi. 

-Furrball knows every secret passage, route, and road in Acme Acres like the back of his hand. He likes to take Fifi through these and show her around as part of dates or hangouts. Or whenever they just want to spend time together alone. 

-Furrball has genuinely ALWAYS found Fifi attractive, even after realizing she was a skunk. He realizes that he shouldn’t have been so quick to judge her based on her species in Furrball Follies and has since apologized to her for it. 

-Furrball has often worried if he’s good enough for Fifi. Especially since he was born and raised on the streets and feels as if he can never really leave that kind of life. Fifi assures him he is MORE than enough…he’s perfect the way he is and she won’t take no replacements. 

-Whenever they go to a place they have to spend money, Fifi will ALWAYS pay for both herself and Furrball. Even when Furrball insists he can pay (he can’t), she knows better and will always take on the task of doing so herself. 

-Fifi likes to get Furrball different bandages to wrap his tail in…especially since she KNOWS he doesn’t take that bandage off. She doesn’t know if it’s a part of his design or if he just refuses to take it off…the least she can do though is make his tail hurt less (because he’s complained that his tail hurts every time he moves it). 

-Fifi has been learning not just to rely on her stench or Toonforce…she’s actually been getting taught how to fight by Furrball! She’s not TOO good at it but she can easily defend herself if someone gets too handsy. Furrball won’t say this to her, but he LOVES seeing her get serious. 

-Fifi and Furrball were worried that Hamton wouldn’t take it well that they were dating (considering Hamton and Fifi dated in the past). To their surprise, Hamton gave his full support! He always knew Furrball and Fifi had a strong interest in each other…so the best he could do was let Fifi be with the one she truly loved. 

-Furrball and Fifi generally prefer not having to wear anything, including on dates. Their cartoons…why SHOULD they have to be forced to wear something that doesn’t suit their personalities? They make it a habit to try on intentionally horrendous and overly frilly outfits then destroy them. 

-Furrball and Fifi have BOTH become somewhat hoarders. Why? Because they can’t bear to throw out anything the other gives them…no matter how insignificant it is. For example, Furrball keeps all the paper fans and poorly done machete art Fifi gives him…even though it’s REALLY starting to clutter his living space. And Fifi keeps all the little souvenirs Furrball gets from going through the alleyways. 

-Furrball and Fifi are very fond of physical touch, Every hug, every caress has a certain meaning behind it, even when they’re angry with each other. Their favorite type of touching is hand holding. They never get tired of it.

-People (mostly humans, especially certain “fans” of Fifi) often assume it’s Furrball who got lucky with snagging Fifi as his girlfriend. Fifi is quick to remind them otherwise. 

-Pepe and Penelope absolutely notice how similar Furrball and Fifi’s relationship is to theirs. They like to offer advice when they can (Pepe to Fifi and Penelope to Furrball), but generally let their students figure it out on their own. No need to interfere in a good thing after all.
