Happy New Year! No better way to enter into the new year but with a #shitanimation I thought 2018 was a great year in regards to lessons. It was pretty much the stretched out long end of a very large fat tail. You can learn a lot from hindsight and that's the beauty of having some skin in the game. . Pleanty of projects that have been working hard all through 2018 and releasing updates along the way. 2017 was really difficult to tell the good from the bad. It was the projects signalling wealth creation like bitconnect that were easy to stamp as scams. Others you had to look a little deeper. 2018 on the other hand helped show anyone that was having trouble what a scam looks like. 2018 also seemed to stamp out the Twitter scammers "send me 1 #ETH and I'll send you 100 ETH back" man those were annoying. I think one of the great lessons of 2018 was the risk of buying into the body of a fat tail. There is a lot less risk buying beforehand (if you're lucky) or at the tails end depending on the project. Buying into the body is super risky as there is know way of knowing if it's halfway up or at the top. 2019 will be another year of opportunities. I have learnt so much and am looking forward to sharing more of my thoughts.
