YOU’RE MEAN YOU KNOW I’M AN ADDICT
These are the only two muses I used to RP that I’m always thinking about..
“ AAYAYYYSYAHYAHAYHAHHHHH”
@shitenkoushun
Dust and ancient sand stirred in the dark as Grimmjow set foot upon the barracks of Aizen’s wing. This place only reminded him of a feeling akin to boredom and rigidity. A cold and quiet place where the elite Espada discussed their vague agendas. The sexta turned a corner sharply to avoid being seen by Tousen and Gin, trailing the gratefully returned fingers of his left arm across cool stone. He only hoped that Ulquiorra wasn’t present in the cell that held Orihime. A confrontation with a Vasto Lorde in these halls wouldn’t be ideal at best, but maybe it was just a couple of brats harassing the human captive when he stepped out. It never made sense to Grimmjow, why those whelps where so obsessive. He stood by the opening to Orihime’s cell, quietly listening without making a semblance of any noise. He could discern the idle sounds of her shuffling, but nothing else. A shame...he really wanted to break down the wall to scare a couple of idiot arrancar--as long as it wasn’t Ulquiorra, that is.
“Hey. Girl.” Grimmjow quietly entered with his hands in the pockets of his hakama. “You want out of this place, yeah?”
[ guard ] for your muse to step between my muse and danger
Hollow attacks had been on the decline, a testimony perhaps to a new found period of peace. That was the spiel he told himself on quiet nights, when stretches of mundane life had him on edge. Sometimes it was the ease of living that had him anxious, certain the rug would be pulled out from under him at any time. And when Hollows did come, easily dispatched of after all he had been through, the discomfort persisted. Ought it be this easy?
It was that arrogance that left him unprepared for an Arrancar ambush. Unintentional, perhaps, the forces working together hardly a well-oiled machine, but his reactions had been slower than they needed to be. Sent careening between adversaries, like a game of catch and he the ball, his senses struggled to right themselves. A disastrous situation, as blades sought vital points--
But relief came before despair, a warmth running the length of his chest. Not the external sought that suggested some spell, or remedy had been applied. The sensation was a direct effect of her presence, of a fragrance he was sure he was imagining, a concentrated frown that would soon be directed towards him, a shock of auburn.
He focuses on that as he lands in the safety of her santen kesshun, uses the feeling of her to right his senses. The blade at his back must contend with her koten zanshun now, a fact he’s sure Tsubaki will berate him for later. But it’s a trivial price, a strange serenity washing over him.
“Thanks for watching my back, Inoue.” Pity for the Arrancar, though. Their teamwork had been forged in more than just whimsy and circumstance.

“Wait, if ‘the spirits are always with you’ show is no more, is there another show I should be keeping up on?“
@shitenkoushun liked for a starter !
In fairness to Giselle, she hadn’t fought a hollow in a very long time. She should have been better prepared, expected more of them, especially in this city that was just teeming with thick spiritual pressure she hadn’t come across in much of her travels. It wasn’t that she was in any true danger, rather the opposite, for the moment the hollow even dared to take a bite of her and got a lick of her toxic blood, then the fight would be over as quickly as it started. But still, Giselle would have preferred not to get devoured alive, and most importantly, to keep a low profile. Fat chance of that happening now.
The creature has her chased down into an alleyway, safely out of sight but isolated and contained, with little room to manoeuvre. There’s the briefest of moments for her duck and roll out of reach of its claws only to be caught by its huge spiked tail, which whipped out and catch her by surprise. There an involuntary hiss as she collapses to the ground, briefly examining the new decor painting her skin. The hollow cut wide and it cut deep, sliced down to the white bone, ripping out huge chunks of her flesh and effectively immobilising her. She clicks her tongue in annoyance. And she had just bought this dress as well. Just as it coils up to lunge another attack, trying to take advantage of Giselle’s momentary distraction, it's forced to stop dead in it's tracks.
An orange shield formed in front of her, taking the brunt of the hit, and Giselle blinked in surprise, watching the hollow sink back, roaring in anger and frustration. She glances to the side of her where the young girl was sprinting towards her, looking terribly concerned as she stared down at Giselle and her (seemingly) grave wounds. Giselle props herself up on her elbows with great effort, huffing a stray strand of hair out of her face, looking up at the girl with a single eyebrow raised as her injuries slowly began to stitch together. 'So much for going unnoticed.' She thought annoyed.
“Can I help you with something?”
@shitenkoushun is it!
"𝐖𝐈𝐋𝐋 𝐘𝐎𝐔 𝐐𝐔𝐈𝐓 𝐂𝐑𝐘𝐈𝐍𝐆 𝐀𝐋𝐑𝐄𝐀𝐃𝐘? I told you it was loud here!” Though not quite so loud as one large, sobbing, purple worm. Exasperated, Pesche did all he could to coax the beast off the street, yet Bawabawa refused to move, too busy crying every time a car passed through his incorporeal body. Fortunately for the two of them, the humans on the sidewalk paid them no more mind than the cars did, rushing two and fro on whatever business kept humans busy. All except one. Starting when he saw her, the 41st raised his voice to be heard over Bawabawa’s wailing.
“P-Princesa! Good to see you! We’re not in the way, are we?”
“Brrr! Brrth! Brra! Rrrrth!”
“I tried to say he wouldn’t like the World of the Living, but he wouldn’t listen!”
