So guys I am in a bit of situation and I kinda want advice.
So me and a group of my friends (we've been friends for 3 years now) do secret Santa and get gifts for birthdays. And every birthday and Christmas I get them something really thoughtful. This Christmas I got my friend a copy of marvel art since she's really into both art and marvel.
But for both birthdays and Christmas I get really generic almost shit gifts and it's driving me insane.
Last year my friend got me a book (and yes I love books and it was one that I mentioned it just wasn't anything that thoughtful or unique) and this year I got used makeup brushes and a bunch of cheap looking skincare products.
I want to confront my friends about it but I'm not too sure how to go about it or if I should even bother.
Honestly I would like to decrease the quality of gifts that I give them to give them a taste of their own medicine but I'm wondering if that is too vindictive?
