So, yeah, this video tagged to @bat-burrito reminded me of the time I challenged myself to (pretend to) remake Manos The Hands of Fate as a serious, non-incompetent horror film.

And if that entire sequence isn’t the perfect way to explain how my brain works, then I’ve got nothing for you.

(Manos remake highlights: Emphasis Mike as a decoy protag, with the actual plot turning out to being Margaret growing out of her vapid airhead wife persona when her daughter is threatened. Torgo remains recreated faithfully, being deliberate about him being both the most tragic and most disturbing character present. The Master eventually is shown to just be a mouthpiece of Manos; the wives having more agency than him is intentional this time. The ending is supposed to be bittersweet, that Margaret sacrificed herself but must have let Debbie escape, then gut punch.)

Now I just need to figure out a way to abridge my Tumblr dash without actually unfollowing anyone, and I might be able to have a life here again….

Got around to finally putting up that art blog. If you need a little color in your life, this blog is the total opposite of this one lol.

Gonna be squatting around here for a while. Hopefully I’ll be able to get back to doing something for this godforsaken RWBY blog around the start of August while my August art auction is taking place over at Gaia.

Got some requests and comics for this RWBY blog that I’ll hopefully finish within a week (my auctions lasts a week always) before I start working on the winner’s piece and my September art auction.
