LMAAAOOOO I had to free hand it because idk how to stencil
i’ve had this tat for a year so this pic was right after i got it done but out of my three tattoos this one is my favorite lol
Just a small rant.
I really hate that one of my close friends keeps getting tattoos, because he wants one. (I want a tattoo, but its a bit different then how he wants one) He doesn’t plan for them until the day he is getting it, and he gets them done by a buddy of his who isn’t a professional. (His art is pretty good, and some of his tattooing is decent, but i feel like he rushes a bit, or only half-asses because he’s giving such a small price) The other day he showed me a picture of what he wanted to get. It was deeply colored in rich oranges and blacks, with thick lines, and mountains, (American/sailor style) I really liked the idea, but in the back of my head, i knew it wouldn’t be close to anything like it. When it was done, he sent me a picture, and to be honest, it looked nothing like the original. Thin lines, the picture was stretched, rushed color job; it was poorly done. An artist worst nightmare.
I do care for my friend a lot, and i support him getting tattoos, (since I, myself will be getting one very soon) But i just don’t understand how he can allow himself to get covered in poorly, cheap tattoos... Two out of ten tattoos he has, are decent, and not that bad. But the rest... I just don’t know.
I understand tattoos can be spendy, and saving money can be a bit stressing, but it’s better to save and get something that is amazing and new, instead of getting something rushed, something someone already has, and obviously cheap tattoos.
