Shiva x Wife! Pregnant reader
The summer heat in India was no joke this year. It was so hot that even the water looked like it was going to start boiling any moment. In your lavish home, a temple fit for a humble God like your husband, give or take, you were laid out on a plush mattress, you were sweating aggressively, you were naked, the only piece of cloth on your body was a thin silky sheet, but you might as well have been naked what with the way the sheet stuck to you like a second layer of skin. Your co-wives were all around you, dressed in lighter, more flowing clothes, to allow what little air to blow through and cool them off.
They sat around you, fanning you, feeding you cooled grapes, and helping you sip chilled water. You were all equally hot, but they worked extra hard to keep you cool, as of right now you were the blessed one and you were in the middle of doing one of the most hardest things any woman could do... You were creating and housing a new soul within your womb. A baby, you were round, 8 months in. This was a critical time in any woman pregnancy, for any baby born at 8 months, usually and almost always dies. Keeping you cooled, comfortable, well-fed, and rested was of the most upimportance. Your co-wives all spoke quietly amongst themselves, chatting about everything and nothing.
It was all silenced when your proud husband, Shiva, walked in, a wide smile on his handsome face as he saw all his lovely wives and at the moment, his pregnant love, his heart always swelled with so much love when ever he seen you, he was a family man through and through. Your co-wives all bowed and crowed around him, greeting and welcoming him home. You laid there, hot, annoyed, sleepy, yet happy and blessed. He spoke to them all gently, praising them and thanking them for taking care of you. He dismissed them as he was a walking team alone, his four arms were more than enough to make up for their absences.
You smiled at him, watching as he walked towards you like a gentle giant, sitting next to you. He leaned down and gently kissed your forehead. "You're doing so well, love... Thank you." He gently said as one of his upper hands caressed your head while his other upper hand caressed your growing stomach gently. One of his lower hands grabbed some cooled grapes, feeding them to you while his other lower hand grabbed a fan and worked on keeping you cool. Your co-wives did the best they could at keeping you cool, and their efforts were welcomed, and with grace, however, this was much more effective.
His arms were much more powerful, he was able to generate much more potent winds, and the response was immediate. A sigh of relief left you, and you closed your eyes, chewing the cold grape throughly, it would seem your unborn baby felt the difference in temperature as well, or perhaps that you weren't so irritated anymore, because your baby made the slightest movement, your eyes snatched open and you stared at Shiva in shocked. His own eyes widened in surprise at your sudden response, and worry quickly filled him. "What's wrong, love? Are you okay?" He asked, his eyes quickly scanning over your body. ".... The baby moved, Shiva..." You softly said, the most relief beyond anything you ever felt filled you.
Ever since you've entered your 8th month, your baby hasn't moved an inch. At first, you were grateful for the sudden stillness... But as time went on, that gratefulness turned into worry and anguish. You thought something was wrong with your baby. You did everything to rouse it. You sang, rocked, bounced, ate things that were either sweeter, extremely cold, or even spicy. You laid in all kinds of positions, and you sat with your legs, either spread or closed tightly. You did it all, but not a peep. You began thinking that your baby had died or that it was sick. You were stricken with grief, and in turn, so was your husband and co-wives. At first, they reassured you that this was normal and that the baby was fine, but the stillness grew, and so did their own worries.
For the first time, in weeks, your baby finally moved, and you were immediately flooded with happiness. Shiva's hand that was already caressing your stomach gently applied pressure, and sure enough, he felt perhaps an elbow, or maybe even a knee. His smile was gentle yet fulfilling. His baby was okay. "Thank goodness, you gave us a scare, buddy... Just straight radio silence for weeks... Worst joke ever." Shiva said, a light chuckle following his relief. You smiled sweetly at him, and your heart now felt whole again. Your baby was okay. Nothing was lost. You gently chuckled at him as tears began gathering in your eyes.
This was the most hottest summer yet, in India, the most stressful month of your life. For a while, you've been questioning the gods as to why they've done what they have done to you, but now, it all seemed like it was well worth the stress. Before this horrendous month, Shiva wasn't the type to fret over you. His other three wives have already been pregnant, so he wasn't new to fatherhood. However, he did parade the fact that he was going to be a father again to all his other godly companions, but once the baby stopped moving, so did his excitement, but now it was going to be turned up to the max. The smile on his face showed promise of that, too. You sighed to yourself. You were already expecting a few visits, some out of excitement but most out of annoyance for your husband.
Shiva lounged sleepily in his garden; his wives were doing their own activities in the various parts of his home in the heavens. His children were all out and about as well, aside from one exception. Resting on Shiva's chest was his youngest child, his baby girl. She was always with him; the little girl was quite attached to her father and some days no one could calm her but him. (Y/n) wasn't usually too fussy, so the days that she would have her fits were met with patience and usually compliance from the large god's end. Shiva knew when to discipline his children, but when he looked at her chubby little cheeks, he felt like there wasn't any particular reason he had to leave her home that day. Of course, the other gods knew better than to comment on him carrying the baby girl about Valhalla, he was more than willing to throw 3 out of 4 hands if he felt particularly embarrassed. Today hadn't been one of (Y/n)'s fussy days though, instead it was a quiet and slow day. When Shiva found his baby girl playing alone in her room, he decided it was nap time. So, he had been quick to scoop her up, bringing her outside to enjoy the weather. Of course, little (Y/n) didn't complain, all that could be heard from her were the sweet coos and giggles that soothed any stress Shiva may be carrying.
Shiva had spent a few minutes finding a safe and quiet place away from the hustle of the home as the servants went about their cleaning, once he had found a place he deemed suitable, Shiva l got them situated in the soft cool grass. He had decided to help her tucker herself out by practicing her walking, so he stood on his knees and used his hands to keep her stable and help her walk through the grass. 2 of his large hands held her sides in a gentle grip, he treated all his kids with a gentle hand but (Y/n) was just so small he couldn't help but treat her like porcelain. His other 2 hands hovered close, letting her tinier hands grip onto his fingers as he allowed her to lead him where she wanted to go. Though it didn't take long for her to decide to simply sit down and play with her father's massive hands, the tiny girl babbled away while squeezing and tugging on his fingers. This went on for a while, Shiva quietly playing with his daughter in this solitary corner of the garden. "Such a bright little soul you are princess, papa's gonna be kicking all kinds of butt when you get older." He chuckled while gently poking her cheek, his grin widening as she giggled and swatted at his hand. When she finally yawned, he felt his shoulders relax, he had earned his nap for the day. Carefully he lifted her into his arms and lowered himself backwards, large and muscular frame resting on the cool grass as a soft tiny form was nestled against the firm muscle of her father's chest. The little girl yawned once more, tiny eyes shutting as her pudgy cheek squished against the center of Shiva's chest. He allowed one of his large hands to rest gently over her back, more than able to cover her body with his gentle warmth.
2 of Shiva's arms crossed behind his head as the other lie across his stomach, all his eyes shut while the two of them basked in the cool warmth of the early summer day. The weather was often nice in heaven, while not immune to storms and seasons the more severe weather was far and in between. But this day in particular felt especially nice to the powerful god, as he basked in more than the sunlight. His thumb stroked along his daughter's spine, a soothing and loving gesture. Shiva loved all his wives and children dearly and fairly; he had special moments with each and every one of them that he kept close to his heart. But these moments with his youngest felt special, the other kids had never really had a preference for who had been caring for them when they were babies. But then came little (Y/n) who never failed to make Shiva feel like the most important thing in the world, she was a loving child but when it came to her father it was like no one else could compete. Even on the tough days, her love of him made him feel like he had to have done something right in the past to end up with such a child. He often compared her to sunshine, as she was pure and nonjudgemental. It didn't matter what he had done in his past, it didn't matter if he lost his temper during a meeting and threatened another god that day, nothing mattered to his baby girl because to her he was without fault. Of course, his wives and other children offered plenty of love and support, but as they get older and mature, he knows they have their own thoughts and opinions based on logic and don't always voice what they truly think of certain situations. But (Y/n) didn't have logic yet, she didn't have the independence to form of a real opinion on anything. And sometimes that soothes part of Shiva that feels shame when dealing with other adults, they saw his faults and even if they did not hold them against him, they still gave Shiva a sense of shame and made him feel judged.
So sometimes he valued his daughter's innocence and youthful ignorance, sometimes it meant the world to him that she didn't know how he could be sometimes. That she had yet to witness the parts of himself he considered shameful, he hoped she never would see that side of him. He wanted to temper himself by the time she's old enough to understand, he doesn't want to make a fool of himself and lose the innocent love she had for him. He could never say it out loud, but his youngest made him want to do better. He knew his self-control wasn't always the best and he sometimes got a little tripped up in his ego, sure he was a god but there was still a time and place for certain behaviors and despite his age he still sometimes acted like a defiant teen testing boundaries. He didn't want his daughter to end up a chaotic handful, he knew it could get dangerous for her if she ended up too much like him. So, he wanted to set a better example, the only reason the other kids weren't feral had been because of his wives. But (Y/n)'s desire to be near her father made things different, it meant she was always watching him and how he behaved. It meant he had to be more concerned with her safety than his ego, so he had to do better or risk her life and future. "You really have left me no choice… what a pain…" He sighed, looking at his sleeping baby girl with a soft grin that no one but her would ever see. It would be hard to change his tendencies, he had been set in his ways for thousands of years. But it was about time he put in the work and prove why he alone stands at the top of the Hindu pantheon; he is not only the best fighter of his pantheon but he's also the best father. And he won't let anyone forget that.
I liked your shiva headcanon story. May i request a one-shot with Shiva as a husband along with his wives pls? 🙏

You were in your own separate room, you were reading a book, the windows were opened wide to let in the warm summer air into your room. The sun was high, and the birds were chirping, it was so beautiful here in Svarga Loka, the flowers were big and full, and the animals were always oh so kind. You were deep into your story, when your door was opened.
You looked up and seen Parvati, she was the sweetest of the wives. You smiled kindly at her, watching her timid form creep into your room. You silently went back to your story, listening to her shuffle around the room silently. She always came to your room for peace and quiet, this household wasn't exactly quiet, but it was peaceful. She usually came to your room to work on a new clothing project that she's been working on.
However, that silence won't usually last for more than two hours, until Durga and Kali would come storming in. They were the more chaotic wives, Durga was a warrior with high honor but she was very loud and aggressive. Kali was more of a mischievous devil, she liked causing issues within the house sometimes. You sighed, closing your book, knowing that reading time was over.
"Yes, Durga?" You asked her patiently. She stomped her staff on the ground. "I be looking for Shiva!! Where is our husband!?" She asked, her English was rather broken, having grown up in the mountains. You looked at her for a moment, thinking of where Shiva could be. "Maybe he's in the garden?" You suggested, she thought over your words and she nodded in agreement. "VERY WELL THEN!!" She shouted, before she slammed the door.
Kali was peeking her head in, nearly gotten it smashed in the harsh slam and you could here her bickering through the door. "HEY!! ARE YOU TRYING TO KILL ME!?" She shouted. "NO TIME FOR FIGHT!!! WE MUST FIND HUSBAND!!" Durga shouted back, you listened to their footsteps fade away and you sighed. You then looked at the closet door with a tired stare.
"You can come out now, Shiva." You said, the door opened and out jumped an excited Shiva. "WHOO!!! THEY ALMOST FOUND ME, DID YOU SEE THAT!? DID YA!? DID YA!? DID YA!?" He excitedly shouted as he bounced around. You shook your head at him. "Why do you always hide in my room during hide n' go seek?" You asked him. He stopped jumping around and he looked over at you. "BECASUE!! THEY'LL NEVER GUESS TO LOOK HERE!!" He shouted as he spread his arms out.
You shook your head at him and Parvati sighed. The door suddenly slammed opened and a angry Durga was seen standing there with a ditzy Kali behind her. "I KNEW IT!!! YOU BE HIDDING HERE!!!" She shouted, Shiva stared at her with a fearful look, before he tried to come up with some half ass excuse. "N-N-NO!! I WASN'T!! I'D NEVER HIDE HEEEREEE!!!" He screamed as Durga jumped at him, ready to catch him, but he ran off coming toward you. Your eyes widen and you picked up your items as quickly as possible, but you weren't fast enough.
Shiva jumped on you, causing you to shriek, he then picked you up and held you up like a shield. "DURGA, WAIT LISTEN!! YOU WOULDN'T TACKLE POOR, SWEET, LITTLE (Y/N) WOULD YOU!?" He shouted, a sinister yet fearful smirk on his face. Durga continued to charge, a prideful smirk on her face. "OF COURSE I WOULD, PAVATI IS THE CUTE ONE AFTER ALL!!" You stared at her offended while Shiva looked around frantically for Parvati, but in her space was an outline of where she used to be.
. . . 'THAT LITTLE TRAIDTOR!!!' Both you and Shiva thought at the same time, but you didn't have much time for anything else, because Durga lunged at you both tackling you both in the ground. You both shouted in complaints, but Durga didn't care, Kali tipped over, a cat like grin on her face. "I WANNA DOG PILE TOO!!" She shouted before she jumps onto the pile. Parvati peeked into the room, a cute little smile on her face. "I love my family." She spoke.
Shiva, The Indian God, The Strongest God of India, The God of Destruction, and The God of Dance. He went by many titles, and he held them all with great pride, but the best title that he held, was The God of Many Lovers.
It was no secret that Shiva was a lover and that he loved having many wives, he adored his family and his friends. He was a fighter, but he was also a lover. He enjoyed dancing and making new friends. He loved it all so much, he was easily bored and was always off on a new adventure, but his newest and toughest adventure was yet to come.
It all starts with you, the deity of patients. You were humble and off on your own most of the time, it was rare when you came to a meeting, you were almost a legend, with how little you were seen. But you weren't, you were just very quiet. You didn't care too much for giant crowds and loud noises. You prefer the quietness of nature. You were usually around Buddha and Jesus, they were some of the more relaxed and peaceful gods in the lands of Valhalla, you enjoyed their company more than the others far, you didn't know of Shiva until the great meeting about humanity's fate.
Zeus, the leader of the gods, sat on his great throne of judgment, he held his gavel in his shaking hand, ready to cast judgment upon the human race. But, a lone Valkyrie stood, you personally didn't care too much for the human race, they were so loud and annoying, you voted for them to be killed off,
The sound of another god wanting the same caught your attention and you looked over at him. He was blue, with four arms, each having similar tattoos on them, they were dark blue, he had yellow tented eyes with orange pupils, around his head he had a yellow cloth wrapped around it. On his forehead was another eye, it was sideways and it was red and yellow with a black slit for the pupil.
He was wearing some yellow pants too, he was rather handsome. He was, however, very loud and too energetic for you and you didn't care too much for that. Once the meeting was over, you left, going to your lonesome, but you were stopped by the same blue handsome god.
"Hey, you're one of the deities that wander around here, right? I don't think I've ever seen such a beauty like yourself before." He said in a casual tone with a cocky smirk, you stared at him a moment longer, before you turned and continued on your way.
His smile dropped as he ran after you. "Hey, wait!!" He called after you, but you didn't look back, as you continue on your way. He huffed, but he followed you non the less. He spoke of himself and his life, but you didn't care too much, but you did listen to some of his words. Such as how he was The God of Destruction and that he was from India and that his name was Shiva. That was all you really cared about.
He followed you until you both entered a quiet area, he stopped in his strides, and he looked about in amazement at the place. "Wow, this place is beautiful... I didn't even know that Heaven even had a place like it." He said in a hushed voice, he was at a loss for words. You looked back at him and smiled. "This is the land of the celestials." You said. He looked around at the scenery. "It's beautiful here." He said. You smiled and walked over to your area he mindlessly followed you.
The place was like a beautiful and lushes jungle, the trees and the grass was so green and healthy, the flowers were from all over the earth, and they were just as big, the waters were crystal clear and it was so clean, the fishes and the animals were all so big and strong, even the fishes were too. In the waters, he could see almost every ocean combined into one, and every fish was swimming around in the waters.
The animals too were from all over the earth, they all lived in peace and harmony, there was no predator and prey, and they were all united as one. He followed you toward your area, which was under a pink willow tree, he observed the area. There were trees he never even heard of or seen before. They grew everything you could think of, from objects to snacks to food to vegetables and fruits. Even some of the trees were of colors he never saw before. He then watched as you made your way under the tree, the shading was perfect, and underneath you had a large pillow waiting for you.
It was surrounded by books, sleeping animals, and snacks. You got comfortable on your pillow, picked up a snack and you popped it into your mouth, you hummed happily at the taste and you picked up your book and began reading it. Shiva stared at you for a moment, before he decided to join you. He popped his own green pillow into existence next to yours, and he plopped down next to you. His upper arms were behind his back while his lower arms, and he laced his fingers together and rested them on his stomach.
He stared at the scenery, bewitched by its rare and unique beauty. You both sat in comfortable silence for a few hours, before he began talking. "My wives and son would love this place." He spoke quietly. You arched a brow at this, your eyes still tracing over the words in your book. "You have a family?" You asked him. He nodded. "Yeah, I may not seem like it, but I'm a family man and a ladies' man." He said with a devious smirk. You rolled your eyes at his words, but you smiled non the less.
"Are your wives also deities?" You asked him. He nodded his head once more. "Yup, they're all from India, and they're all so lovely too." He said in a fond voice, his eyes soft in the thought of his wives. You looked over at him, seeing his soft features, and you smiled at him. He seemed like a pompous ass who only liked to brag about himself when you first met him, but now that you're seeing him in a better light, he was actually a decent and honorable man.
You would say God, but Shiva was showing signs that he was more humanized than he let on.
After that, Shiva came by every day, he always came alone, and he'd relax with you for hours, you'll both engage in a light conversation, every now and then, Shiva's energetic side would come out, and he's have you dance with him, you'd always decline him, but his energy was so joyous and contagious that it'll make you get up and dance with him. You had great fun with him.
He eventually started to bring his wives with him, one by one, and you got to meet his wives. Parvati, Durga, and Kali. Parvati was the sweetest of the three, she was quiet and sweet, and you liked her the most. Durga was the most aggressive of the wives, she was rowdy and was quick to fight, but she was also more civil than her husband, you eventually learned to like her. Kali was a wild lady, she was hyper and mischievous yet she was sweet, she was a bittersweet pill.
He eventually brought his son, Ganesha, who was surprisingly a little pink elephant. You looked at his son, and then towards his wife, and lastly toward him... where the hell did the elephant come from? You silently pondered, but he noticed your expression and he waved you off. "Don't ask about it, it's weird." He said and you took him at his word. The more he visited with his family, the more you felt at ease and comfortable with them, and you quickly felt like you were one of them.
They treated you like family, they sang songs with you, they danced with you, and they shared their food and stories with you. You never felt so welcome. But you were a slow mover, you were the deity of patients after all, and you stuck to your own beliefs too. You slowly opened up to them, but it was so slow till it almost looked like you were distinct from them. Shiva would try to rush you into joining them, but you'd always decline, making him frustrated.
But you'd just smile at his childish behaviors. As time went on, he began learning how to approach you, it was hard for him, but he eventually got it, along with his wives and his son. Within 50 years, he had finally learned how to deal with you, and he felt proud of himself, but he popped you a question that you knew was coming up.
"Y/n, will you marry me?" He asked, you looked up from your book, and over at him. You then shook your head, and he gawked at you. "HUH!? WHAT DO YOU MEAN 'NO'"!? He shouted in disbelief, you smiled at him. "I just don't feel like settling down yet, you're a sweet man Shiva, and your wives are very lovely, and Ganesha is very sweet, but I'm not ready yet, wait a little longer?" You explained and finished with a question as you cupped his cheek.
He pouted at your words, He placed one of his upper hands on your hand that was on his cheek, while the opposite lower hand was placed on your waist. "But, Y/n, It's been 50 years, surely that's more than enough time for you to make up your mind!! I've been so patient with you, I did everything you needed from me, so why?" He asked you, the hurt in his eyes shined brightly, and you couldn't help but see the human in them. Shiva was a unique case to you, he was born a god, yet he was the most human out of all the gods.
"I'm well aware, Shiva, but just give me time, after all, Love is a process." You said, as your thumb caressed his cheek, and he leaned into it. After that, Shiva didn't ask you anymore, but he treated you like you were already his. He was trying to be patient and he was doing so very well, he would come by once a week, keeping balance among all his spouses, he was quite the master at it. He was still his energetic self, but he learned to be more quieter and relaxed around you.
Another 50 years have passed, and you still weren't ready to marry yet, but Shiva didn't ask this time, he didn't want to rush you, because he was understanding that for you, love was in patients. Another 50 years went by, and this time, he asked you. "Y/n, will you do me the honor, of marrying me?" He asked you, he was resting on your pillow, he's taken to cuddling with you, wrapping one of his lower arms around your waist while his upper two rested under his head.
You were once again reading your book, you closed the book, and you looked over at him. "Yes, Shiva, I'll marry you." You said in a soft voice. His eyes widen, and they shined like a baby who was tasting sugar for the first time. He then jumped up and he wrapped you in his arms as he celebrated. 'WHOO HOOO!!!! I'M GONNA GET MARRIED!!!" He shouted into the air, you cringed at his loudness, but you hugged him back either way just last tightly.
He laughed a joyous laugh, and you smiled, your head tucked into his chest. He was so happy he jumped up with you, asking you to dance with him in celebration, you laughed and you joined him, dancing to the sound of the wind that rustled the vegetation around you both, congratulating you on your union.
(This is just a little something I did based off an OC of mine I plan to elaborate on over on my Ao3, I did this as a reader insert and if you're interested in seeing what OC of mine this is based on hop over to Ao3 or drop a comment and I'll drop her Bio!)
The little sea nymph skipped through the halls of Helheim, searching for her dear uncle Hades in need of advice in regard to her father Poseidon. Hades was the uncle that watched her most as a child when her father was busy, so she was a normal face to see in the underworld as she often visited and came to him for sound advice on things she wasn't comfortable bringing to her father. "Lady (Y/n)? I didn't know you were here." This had been her older cousin Hermes; despite her smaller stature she was only a couple hundred years younger. "I came to see Uncle Hades; do you know if he's in the throne room." The young woman turned to face the tall male, arms crossing in front of her as she rocked on her heels. The older male chuckled, nodding his head as he pointed down the hall. "Yes, he is, I just came from there to deliver a message from Lord Zeus. Is everything ok?" This made the girl giggle; she knew how much of a gossip her cousin could be, so she decided to tease him some. "Oh yes, I just need some advice on approaching my father about something." That clearly got the male's attention as he crossed his arms and cocked a brow, leaning forward some. "Oh? I do hope you aren't in trouble. You've always been such a good girl." The male was now teasing back, causing twin grins to break across their faces. Of course, their teasing was all in good fun, both were quite friendly when they'd see each other. "No, no trouble just… I believe I've found the relationship I would like to be in." She was purposely wording it in a way to avoid giving him information, she wanted to speak to her father before it burned through the family like wildfire. "I see, so it's about a love interest. I'll not keep you waiting then, the sooner you talk to your dad the sooner I get to tell the others." He gave her a playful wink and wave before he turned to leave, letting the young woman resume her way to the throne room. She knocked gently at the door after greeting the guards, waiting for her uncle's permission before she entered. "I hope you aren't busy Uncle; I have something Important I need to talk to you about." The sweet little nymph practically skipped towards her uncle's throne, moving to sit in one of the small thrones beside him. "Never too busy for you darling, what it is you need?" The older male gave her a smile as he turned to face her, Poseidon had many children and her being one of the youngest she only really got to spend so much time with he father. Hades would often watch her for her father as her mom was often "busy" whatever that was supposed to mean. Hades had a few of his own and his favorites to raise were his daughters, so he had instantly melted over his niece when she came to be in his care. He'd spoil her if he felt she was being treated fairly, even spoke to his younger brother when one of the male's mistresses would step out of line in regard to the little one. Needless to say, little was more important than his niece. "You see, I have been talking to and spending time with a god and his wives from another pantheon. But he wishes to talk to dad and get his permission to date me to avoid stepping on his toes, so I need to set up something for them to talk. But I don't know how to bring it up to dad especially since I don't know how he feels about the god in question." She blushed deeply; she knew her uncle could probably guess who it was based on how important it was to her. Afterall, she had the same crush since she was a preteen, none other than the god of destruction himself Shiva. She had met him a few times growing up from accompanying her dad and uncles and even cousins to certain events and meetings, she had never spoke to him though and simply fangirled and flustered herself from a distance.
It wasn't until she was officially old enough to drink that she had actually met Shiva's 3 wives, it was at her birthday celebration that she had truly got to socialize with many of the other gods. Zues had thrown a big party, inviting a large number of gods and goddesses from across the pantheon. Dionysus had even showed up to serve as a bartender, making for plenty of variety. Kali had approached first to wish her a happy birthday, giving her a necklace from the 4 of them. It was made by some dwarvish artisans with a bunch of gemstones handpicked by the group, figuring if she was important enough for Zeus to throw such a party then she was worthy of a thoughtful gift. "I see, so Shiva has finally noticed you?~ Congrats sweetheart." He chuckled and gave her a head pat; he knew she'd probably tell him all about how this all came to be later. "Well, your father and him have never really spoke much as far as I remember, so if he dislikes Shiva, he has never made it known. I don't think you'll need to take any special precautions, just approach him when he isn't busy and let him know that Shiva would like to meet with him to discuss courting you. My brother isn't the type to freak out, and everyone knows how far Shiva would go for the people he cares about so he has no reason to believe Shiva would do you wrong." He could see her relax some, despite how calm he was her father was still quite intense at times and most daughters would be apprehensive to approach their fathers about a man wanting to date them. So, her anxiety was very real and understand able, but Hades knew well everything would work out. "Would you like me to accompany you and wait outside the door just in case?" The older male chuckled as he pinched her cheek, knowing she'd most likely deny him but still wanting to offer. "No that's fine, I think you're right and I'm just overthinking it." She nods her head and moves to stand, stretching some as she took a deep breath. "Now to go home and get things settled, Hermes wants details and if it takes more than a day or two, he'll be teasing me about being a scaredy cat for the next millennia." She pouted as her uncle laughed, nodding his head. "Alright darling, be safe on your way back. I'd hate to think of what the god of destruction or my brother would do if something happened to you on your way back." His comment made the girl giggle as she bid him goodbye, practically jogging out of the room to go and see her father.
It didn't take her long to get back up to the heavens, and back to the home she and her unwed siblings shared with their father. But she took her time once inside the castle, rehearsing her words in her head to make sure she didn't mispeak or leave anything out. She had been on her way to her father's throne room, spotting one of the many servants walking down the hall. "Excuse me, is father in the throne room?" The servant had been quick to turn and bow, giving a curitous yes as they kept their eyes on the ground. Her father refused to let the servants treat his children any less than him, as since he was perfect that meant his children were aswell. "What do you know of his mood? I'd prefer not to bother him if it's been a particularly frustration day." With that the servant stood straight, though kept their eyes on the ground. "It's been a quiet day so I don't believe he is upset. Though you know your father best." (Y/n) simply nodded, turning to continue on her way to her father's throne room. She entered quietly without knocking, her father always telling them that it was their home and they have no need to tiptoe about as no one would dare scold them for adventuring through their home. "Hello father, is now a good time?" She walked over to his side, standing patiently as he flipped through his book. "I suppose it isn't a bad time, has something happened?" He tilted his head slightly to look at her, he saw his children as his equals as far as their existence went and so he had no problem looking at them. Something that used to piss off Adamas, as the other male hated how Posidon doted on his kids in a way most other gods would never understand and the fact his neices and nephews received more respect from the male than he did enraged him. "Nothing bad, I promise. It's just… There is a god who would like to speak with you about courting me." Now that had the blonde closing his book and setting it aside, he took the relationships of his children seriously and he'd never sell them off to just anyone. "Oh? I'm assuming you wouldn't bring this to me if you weren't interested in him as well. So which god do you want?" He spoke as if he was going to get her a puppy, no doubt that's how he saw the gods who he allowed to be with his children. "It is Lord Shiva… I've spoken to him and his wives for some time, and they'd like to move forward with a relationship. But Shiva doesn't wish to cross you and so he wishes for your permission."
The older blonde sat quiet a moment; he didn't have any particular qualms with Shiva. The male could be somewhat loud, but he was also strong in his own right and only a foolish god would be unaware of Shiva's devotion to the things and people he cares about. "I see, I suppose I can make time tomorrow to speak with him. You can go out with the other women; I'll speak with Shiva man to man." He nodded his head, watching his daughter smile in relief before she hugged him. His daughters were the only ones that could get away with such actions, the only thing they'd receive is a pat on the head in return just as she did. "Thanks dad, I'll go let him know." It wasn't until she was out the door and down the hall that he let himself chuckle, his little ones were growing up so fast. Soon they'd all be married off and having their own families, it was odd for him to think about given how long he had been living in a full household.
