*wheeze* I just reached a speed level of 153 in Shock Switch; highest I've ever gone so far. Took me about an hour but I got 5-6 full charges, 798,480 points, and 33,828 treasure. (Yeah!)

There are people with high scores more than four times higher than mine and just... how do you people manage to play it so fast? @___@

I'm pretty peeved at Flight Rising's game setup. Below, I make a lot of assumptions about how various things work, and I'm rather irate. 

So, Flight Rising, I had not been playing your fairground games for a week or two because they were at times inoperable and tended to have connection failures, but I recently spent nearly all my treasure so I needed to start up again. At first, it was pretty ok! Better than dragon sales at least. The games actually loaded. I hadn't gotten a singe white  "failed to connect to the game server" screen of doom. You know the one that means that you just lost the reward for the whole time you've been playing, that pops up without warning? Arrrg! I though it was fixed!

As you can probably tell, it's not, I got it again. 45 minutes, and probably around 15k treasure, completely wasted. I'm sick if this. THIS is why I hate Shock Switch, not because it's a bad game or anything (Though I do play the effects-free version because the normal is garishly cluttered with animations that don't improve playability or appearances at all, imho, but whatever) , or because it 's payout was nerfed, or because it's slow and a bit mind numbing! Am I missing something? Why the heck does a bejeweled-tetris hybrid (or, for that matter, a simple battle system) need to be constantly connected to a server, anyway, if it only grants the reward at the end!??? Even Neopets*, may it's name live on in infamy forever, knew better. Play game, finish game, connect, send score? Failed to connect? Just retry! Genius.  *sarcasm*

How the heck are people getting high scores of 5million points with a setup like that? The word I've seen around was that it is the game servers fault that the screen pops up, but honestly, unless I'm just that unlucky, a 5mil score would seem impossible, since I get frequently knocked off far, far below that? So if it's not usually the game servers causing it for me, could it be that my own internet connection is having a temporary, minuscule interruptions that I'd probably never even notice browsing but that are enough to competently destroy any game I'm playing on FR? Is that how it works? Because if that's the case, I'm never going to get ahead in the game, because there's literally no other ISP in my area and losing progress so often is going to drive me away, first from just the fairgrounds, an then the whole site because no treasure = no fun in a site that feels like just one giant goldsink. XP 

*assuming this is the case, it's been so long since I payed anything there.

Shockswitch discoveries

I was about to ramble because the game over screen of Shockswitch showed that I earned 11k for about 400k, but then I used another tab to look at my mail and after switching back the screen said: you earned 24k or treasure. So it's all just a case of "be patient"?!

Fun fact:  if you get over 1mil points in shockswitch (in easy), you earn over/roughly 30k.

(However, it takes over one full Doctor who episode, and doesn't put you in the high score list...)

Shockswitch is not awarding me treasure --- the game doesn't even list treasure to be given out on the Replay? screen. Is there anything I can do? >_<
