My Dead Girlfriend ( shinda boku no kanojo in Japanese) formed in 2005 in Saitama, Japan. Currently, the band consists of Ishikawa (vocal & guitar) , Ideta (vocal & synthesizer) , Kinoshita ( guitar ) , Kawakami ( bass ) and Kunii ( drums ) .This track is off their new album: “Hades ( The Nine Stages of Change at the Deceased Remains)” which was released earlier this year. I have not gotten through the whole album but this is awesome, they’ve picked up the pace for sure, but are extravagantly consistent with previous albums. Definitely check out their old stuff if you like this, i.e. Ixtab (2010) and their collab album with Shojoskip: Sweet Days and Her Last Kiss (2008) [personal favorites/ albums I’ve gotten through so far). Their evolution is one to appreciate, and I can’t wait to hear what more they have to offer.
