工房見学: 整靴 暁 しまなみ海道の愛媛から一つ目にある大島に移住して靴職人をされている中田さんの工房見学させていただきました。 自分の作るモノとは雰囲気も製法も違いますが、手仕事の魅力たっぷりの良き靴たちでした。 平家をリノベーションしてショールームと工房の2部屋で綺麗な空間です。他の人の仕事場に入るのはいつもワクワクします。 Visiting workshop: Akatsuki I visited a shoemaker at his workshop in the first Shimanami island from Ehime called Ohshima. Shoes he makes are quite different style and construction from my works but it’s brilliant in craftsmanship.
