When I first saw this crescent this morning, my first thought was a shot of the crescent at ISO100 like I typically do for maximum DR and make the sky go black. But 78 shots later this wispy red cloud moved into position, which changed everything: ISO3200 to bring up the sky, f/2.8 to keep the shutter speed at 1/125th. #shootthemoonUS #shootthemoonUK #teamcanon #canonbringit

A series of tonight's one and only FULL supermoon of 2017. I used some trees to attenuate the light to help reveal surface details, which are usually impossible to get because of the brightness of a full moon. #shootthemoonus #shootthemoon #canonbringit #eos7dmarkii
