I'm going to say it's not splurging if you're buying it for "business reasons". Picked up this absolutely beautiful #mexicanfireopal tonight at the open house held by the gem dealer down the hall from #Shophiem (so dangerous!). I think I need to go overboard on this one and acid etch dragon scales into the silver I use for the setting and back plate because it looks like an egg hatching. #opal #dragon #metalsmithing #fandom (at Shopheim)
