I had the honor of being invited to a very exclusive preview event for @goddm. He is one of my favorite artist and people overall so I had to go. His upcoming project is called "Soundtrack To A Shopping Mall" . His #ShopWithDDM event was perfectly conceptualized and the music was as well. He played about 8 tracks for the attendees. My faves included "Paper Or Plastic" which is his ode to the historical Mondawin Mall, "Donatella", and everyone's new B-day theme song "Birthday Bitch". But no one could deny that songs like "Forever21" and "Hangers" really are gonna make some movements. He vocally goes where you think a rapper won't go. Unapologetically and boldly...Those 2 really seemed to move people. #STASM Is hands down on my list for the most anticipated musical releases in 2018. As far as concept , production quality and just overall style DDM has something mainstream is missing and they need to get with him quick.
