Pantsir-S1: A Russian system in service since approximately 2005, costing between $3-6 million per unit. It has a significantly longer range of 12-20 miles and a higher altitude capability of 49,000 feet. It carries 12 surface-to-air missiles and twin 30 mm guns.

While the IM-SHORAD is modern and mobile, the Pantsir-S1 offers greater range and firepower based on these specifications.

তুরস্ক থেকে এসেছে আরো রকেট সিস্টেম। বাংলাদেশ সেনাবাহিনীতে আনুষ্ঠানিকভাবে কমিশন হয়েছে রকেট আর্টিলারি সিস্টেম ও স্বল্প পাল্লার আকাশ প্রতিরক্ষা ব্যবস্থা। আকাশ প্রতিরক্ষা (SHORAD) হিসেবে যুক্ত হয়েছে FM-90 যা বাংলাদেশ অনেক আগে থেকেই ব্যবহার করে। আর রকেট আর্টিলারিতে যুক্ত হয়েছে 230মিমি গাইডেড মাল্টিপল লঞ্চ রকেট সিস্টেম। তুরস্কের তৈরি এই সিস্টেমের TRG-300 মিমি ভার্সন প্রথম ব্যাচ দেশে পৌছেছে অনেক আগেই। এখন 230মিমি এর TRLG-230 ভার্সন দেশে পৌছেছে। এটি GPS,INS সহ লেজার সিকারের সহায়তায় 20-70 কিমি রেঞ্জ এ 2 মিটার( CEP) তে আঘাত হানতে সক্ষম। অর্থাত 70 কিমি দূরের কোনো লক্ষ্য বস্তুর 2 মিটারের মধ্যে এই মিসাইল পরবে। যাইহোক এই সিস্টেমটি মাল্টি ক্যালিবার লঞ্চার ব্যবহার করে। অর্থাত একই ট্রাকে 122/220/300 মিমি এর রকেট পড স্থাপন করা যাবে। তবে 122 মিমি এর ভার্সন সম্পর্কে এখনও নিশ্চিত হওয়া যায়নি।তবে রকেটসান বাংলাদেশের অর্ডারকৃত সিস্টেমে 122 মিমি পড দেখিয়েছে। বাংলাদেশের মডিফাইড ভার্সনে 230মিমি এর 12 টি রকেট একসাথে স্থাপন করা যাবে। #bd #army #rocate #SHORAD https://www.instagram.com/p/ClAR0BcvLcJ/?igshid=NGJjMDIxMWI=

Boeing, GDLS unveil Stryker mounted SHORAD system

Boeing and General Dynamics Land Systems (GDLS) has unveiled Short-Range Air Defense (SHORAD) system mounted on a GDLS Stryker combat vehicle at the Space & Missile Defense (SMD) Symposium at the Von Braun Center in Huntsville on August 8.
