Post S3 Langst idea???

In which Lance mistakes his own anxiety// depressing thoughts as the Red Lion’s mind link. Like when he’s on some sort of mission with the rest of his team, these random thoughts just pop into his head, telling him that he’s a failure, and that he should just give his new lion up.

He immediately thinks it's Red, and kind of yells at her to stop while his coms are on, and Red kind of does a flip of some sort like they’re gonna crash, and everyone freaks out about it ,thinking he’s in trouble but when asked, Lance just says that he and Red are having some mental link problems.

Future

A single tear slid down my face as I closed the pod. Keith’s slightly angry, mostly shocked face stared at me. I gave a small smile.

“Get out of here, Keith. You were the future to me.” He looked at me, now desperate.

“Lance, no!” he shouted, banging on the door.

“You’re the future.” I whispered as the base blew up.

Just me

“Because I can’t speak up, okay?” Lance screamed at the empty Castle walls. “I know that I should talk to somebody, I know that this isn’t going to fix itself, I know, I know!” He started pacing all around the Castle, talking to the walls. “It’s just hard, okay? Reaching out to give them my problems? Pfsh, we’re in a war! That;s more important then me, by a long shot. But- but something isn’t right. Why don’t I feel anything anymore, huh? Why can’t I just be normal?” He sat down in the middle of a corridor.

“It’s not like I can do anything useful. The only thing I’m doing is wasting out oxygen supply. Hell, I’ve been slowly replacing Keith since day one. I’m just-” his voice finally broke. “I’m just me.”
