I have had glasses for multiple years now but I'm still sad at the fact that clouds look so much worse with my glasses on
I used to stare up at the clouds and think "oh my god, they're so pretty and fluffy, the sky can be really beautiful"
But when I got glasses it was like "wait... why do the clouds have outlines wtf???"
As a short sighted person, anything at a distance generally looks blurred. However I had the red dot out for Banshee to chase, while the room was dark and I wasn't wearing my glasses. This allowed me to see the "shape" of the blur. It varied a little depending on the angle the light was hitting the surface. Flat on, the dot appeared as a cross made of bright red lens flare, with less bright spokes(?) between the main cross. The horizontal line being the brightest. At approximately a 45° the dot appeared as a shimmering holographic hexagon with lines from the corners reaching to the centre. The hexagon wasn't quite regular, and the bottom half was slightly brighter than the top half. I doubt these images are entirely universal, but still it was interesting to see the shape of my short sightedness.
