Drama anon, back with the hot gossip™ so it all started last summer. My friend had asked me to be in her Quinceñera as one of her dama's, and rehearsals for the dances started during the summer leading up to the Quince. Only 2 or 3 of the people in her court were from my school, the rest were her church friends, or friends from middle school. Among these friends was a boy I had briefly dated named Jay. When I say briefly I mean we bought tickets to see a movie, he flaked and I lost interest(1/?)
Anyways, one of the few kids who was from my school was named Sam. She comes into play later mostly lmao. But Jay was really upset that I had never gotten back to him about a second first date, and he still had feelings for me even though this was half a year later. Everyone, including me, is aware of them. One of the boys, Martin, and I start flirting, and we both develop crushes on each other and tell Jay. Jay decides not to tell us so we “can figure it out ourselves”. (2/?)
So Martin and I start dating, and everyone knows it, Jay and Martin are no longer on speaking terms, but in general, we were good. Then one of the boys has to drop out. And my friend replaces him with a boy that one of my close friends, Emily, has a crush on. He ends up having a brief crush on me but he drops and we’re good there. My friend considers adding another boy, but luckily for my sanity, she decides against it. He’ll come back later though. His name is Chen. (3/?)
