                                Jem had travelled the world, east and west. He had gained knowledge which wasn't available from within the city he'd used to live in. it fascinated him, but he couldn't help but to feel void in his travels. He didn't know what he did this for; as a measure for survival perhaps; or perhaps he was drifting through nothingness and was waiting for his time to greet death. A sigh made it way escaping his lips. They were dried and so were his bruised skin.

                                He had bandages covering him; on his face, on his limbs and on his torso. Being beaten up senseless wasn't new to him, he wished he knew how to fight. Sitting himself at a random bench, tired from the constant walking for aimless counts, he decided that it was best for him to relax himself. He wondered where should he go next, and a low growling from his stomach disturbed his thoughts. "Aah --" he groaned, placing a hand to his abdomen and leaned his head back. The sky was blue, it was pretty; he could feel himself dozing off there as the wind blew through his shaggy hair. Oh how he missed the food he could eat back at home.

          [ Like any shifter--from hyena to wolf--there is a point of their life when they are over-come by a horrible, instinctual need that must be sated. It usually comes once every month, just like a woman's cursed menstrual cycle. But unlike most shifters, Emile had a lot more control. He was docile by nature and probably did not care too much about the deed due to his traumatic past. So when his heat came, it was easy to push it back and go on with his day. ]

         [ Usually. ]

            "Ne, Kazuko?" [ His voice was soft at first, almost as if to make sure that the other was not asleep--too afraid to wake the other if he had. His arms was wrapped around the boy, one of the other's legs tucked between his. As promised, they were cuddling. While watching a movie. It was all great, really. ] "After this, you wanna go get something to eat?"

           [ And then he did something he probably shouldn't have. Just as he shifted, his body inevitably pressed against the other by accident. And only then did he become aware of his problem down below and his body shuddered at the sudden jolt. ]

          [ He really hoped Kazuko did not notice; that'd be a tad bit awkward. ]
