i also feel like there's a lot of hinting to their actual relationship in the game. like it's identified at the very start by fujisaki that people haven't completely forgotten everything. there's still lingering feelings... those social bonds haven't been completely broken due to their lost memories.

and while this is merely a headcanon, i feel this applies to leon and maizono, too? leon states in the game he's actually only interested in starting a band to win a girl over. if i recall correctly, he actually implies it's a specific girl. in my honest opinion, i think it was maizono. he was intending on going into the music business to get connected to maizono, someone who's already deep in the music business.

he probably had a big crush on her (i mean... maizono's pretty attractive. she also won naegi over. it's not hard to grasp the idea leon might've thought she was cute too... and considering the other girls in his class, she was probably the one he was more likely to go for). he's just a baseball guy, though. idols and baseball players? eh, they probably don't mix well. i really do think his seemingly sudden interest in the music career was to win over maizono, haha...

i think this was probably his intention predespair, as well!! and it turned out to be successful. i don't believe their relationship was entirely sexual. i think maizono probably was the dominant one in that case (even if it was in secret...), but i do think they had a very healthy, romantic relationship as well. she probably gave him a lot of music tips, and i bet they sang karaoke a lot... aaaa they would be so cute. i love leosaya. gomen
