The rush of the clear water as the dolphin smoothly glided across the lane was all that is heard within the pool area, until there came the padded footsteps of his fellow team mates. However, not a single touch of care given in regards to attention; focused to immerse himself with the sensation of the water. Back of his mind partially focused on the primary form of his strokes, but the rest was centered on the importance of the upcoming relays.
Stroke after stroke, kick after kick --- it's all he can feel as he reaches the end, execute a swift turn to lunge himself to the opposite side. Training, preparation, swimming with sound intentions.
