Did a small production on my friends mint sneaker collection. This was back in 2009. My first take on a mini-documentary style of shoot. 

I have always been amazed by the collection of sneakers he had and let's just say he was a big influence on me when it came to urban culture. So I just thought I'd just show up with a camera the next time I head over and just start shooting.

Well that's what I did, but usually people tend to be hesitant at times but you just have to come over prepared with a script and your ideas so it doesn't seem as improvised as they think; it all depends on the pitch you just have to make them feel secured. 

You just have to see something in what you're documenting, it's a commemoration of something and once that it hits the web; your message must be portrayed.
