It was hot in the overcrowded common room; packed too closely with human bodies and the insentient reverberations of the loud, pulsating music that accompanied the dancing in the middle of the room. Grant stood rigidly in a corner beside the makeshift bar, taking advantage of the one aspect he was interested in as he watched the growing crowd.
