Ok, here's a participatory question: what things have you read about or heard about recently that made you ask yourself "should I be mad about this?"
I'll give an example: Immigration headlines feel either desperately inflammatory or deeply administrative and dense. So as policies come out, I've often wondered if I was getting a full enough picture of the rule in question.
Most administrations will do things that I agree with AND things I disagree with. But knowing when to be outraged (when we are all exhausted by outrage) can be hard in really complicated situations. It's one of the reasons I enjoy and look for my friend Krisy's posts, as I know she is particularly informed and passionate on the subject.
I'm interested to know: when has this hit you? When has an issue felt too murky or complex for you to be sure of where you stand?
(Side note/disclaimer: I'm looking to start a podcast, bc I happen to be friends with a lot of amazing experts who can shed a lot of light on a variety of subjects. So I am interested to know what's gnawed at you all!)
