Shou Pu 熟普 Sweet, earthy, with a full, smooth body. Shou Pu means post-fermented Pu Er; sometimes it is translated to ripened or cooked Pu Er. This is a popular style of #blacktea from Yunnan which is made from Sheng Pu. Given the nature of its heavy processing, #shoupu is usually a blend. Due to the large batch and rough processing method of black tea, many Shou Pus are harsh and funky. However, a well-made Shou Pu is the mellowest, easiest-to-drink tea.
