massive shoutout to @puzzledtogether. cel is, quite honestly, my inspiration. i will always adore his worldbuilding and headcanons and inventiveness, and his ability to just pull it all together, his attention to detail and characterization always amaze me. be it canon muses or ocs, he’s amazing.

@sethokai is such a wonderful kaiba. i’m honestly amazed at the thought that she puts into him, her headcanons are always so sound and detailed and just scream of quality. their writing and characterization are excellent. lovely blog and lovely mun.

@servatuus was one of the very first people who approached me when i made this blog, and honestly, they’re a blast to talk to. and in all honesty, they really brighten up my day when i see their content on my dash.

DIDNTSAYANDRASTESAYS is a wonderful person and a brilliant RP partner. Shink and I have been in mutuals for ages but it's only since DAI that we've really had the chance to sit down and WRITE together outside of banters and exchanging of memes. She's such a positive force on the dash and she works hard to be open to interacting with everyone even when she's having a hard time. Every banter and OOC reblog is a delight and my dash is constantly brightened by Shink and her muse

SHINK yes omg. Shink has done so much for the community, her oc week was brilliant. It highlighted a portion of the community that often gets overlooked, and she did it all by herself??? What a superstar. I’ve adored seeing Owen’s ships with Alistair, Cadri, and Alnis on my dash. Her headcanons are as on-point as her writing, and overall Owen is just a thoroughly enjoyable character. I love her and her character, they’ve both added so much to DARP.

rubs hands together. have you heard the good word of tumblr user dalishfreckles? I first met joly when they were primarily writing on cadri. it was funny because I had just followed cadashsmash just days before, and when I went around asking the urls in elfie helpie, theirs was the only one I had yet recognized because I was still so new.  and I just – oh my god.it was like meeting a celebrity. I was secretly very shy around joly for a good month ??? it seems excessive but they know SO MUCH about SO MANY things. I admire and love joly now like woah.

I mean my lap is a very sought-after place of flopping but joly has a reserved spot. their concern and sincerity for others is one of the most beautiful and touching things – they are so giving. even when they’re tired or down, they are still so generous with others and I model myself after that.  and their writing is so pure. idk even know what that means but it's pure. it’s got this raw emotion that has honestly bled into the real world.  

I've criedbecause of their writing.  I’ve cried because of their characters. I’m so invested in their blogs. they know by this point I’ll follow them anywhere, and even boldly go where no one has gone before. I’m so grateful they’re in my life.

Yes, y es yES “pure” is the perfect word for their writing. Their writing is very effective, they can accomplish so much in an askbox. All they need is a hundred words to make you laugh or tear out your heart. Not a word is wasted, not even in their longer replies, which I find sometimes get unwieldy for other people. Everything works, everything flows, and I hope one day to be like ½ as talented a writer as they are. When my muse is slowing down I often go to the Joly reply reserve and their writing kickstarts it immediately. They have a gift for prose and character creation that I’m still in awe after several months writing with them, and I don’t expect that to change, ever.

And as a friend/person they’re so important. I can’t stress enough how important Joly is. Even when they’re having bad days they’re always willing to listen to me when I’m having issues, no matter how petty those issues may seem. I remember when I was first pulled into elfie helpie we’d only spoken a few times and I was so in awe of them and Nova it really did seem like I was speaking to a celebrity b/c tbh I was pretty new to DA RP myself at the time. They’ve been so kind and good to me and to so many other people and I’m also so incredibly grateful they’re in my life. I couldn’t ask for a better friend or rp partner.

lycannalla is one I'm really really fond of, concept-wise. Indes simultaneously fits seamlessly into the world and also sticks out enough to really draw in my interest as I read more about her.

She's one of the characters about whom I'll always read go out of my way to read all the various posts about, from headcanons to answered asks.

I really love what she’s done with Isaya. I mean, firstly because a sword-swallower isn’t the sort of character one sees around a lot (most entertainer-type characters I’ve seen are bards and such and while bards are hella cool it’s great to see something different yeah nah?). Beyond that, well, Isaya’s a fun character in general. I like reading about her various antics.

And you know… the plain old unusualness of a Talos-worshipping Dunmer’s always fun?

bloodoftheancients I mean honestly, that's a blog with a lot of thought put into it. Both with regard to character headcanons and worldcanons and it all, all makes sense with lore and they are all incredibly well-researched.

It's clear that a lot of thought has gone into this character, and it's really really very impressive and it's always a joy to go look at their blog.
