How did this Clumber Spaniel win Best in Show in Crufts? Smhh. Looks like the dog has eye problems as well, which is common in the breed.

Imo the working line is a million times cuter too—if all dogs shown here were from the same litter, which would you adopt? One clearly looks like the deformed sibling..

Stop breeding for unhealthy traits and exaggerated appearance pls. Just because some kennel club gives you authority, it doesn't mean it's right.

One of the greyhound groups I follow on Facebook was having a discussion about racing line greys versus show lines.  These were the photos shared, with the top two being show line greys, the middle one a modern racing line grey, and the bottom two are racing/coursing greys from 1890 and 1903.  They also have different health issues, with racing greys being more prone to osteosarcoma (bone cancer), and show line greys being more prone to bloat and greyhound neuropathy.
