Child abuse: Hargreeves is still a POS father, so if Brenner from Stranger Things or Stick from Daredevil were a problem from you, he’s like the worst of both those worlds.
Emotional abuse/manipulation: One character spends pretty much almost the whole show being lied to and manipulated by someone who is trying to create a wedge between them and the rest of the family. There are a lot of classic abuse tactics at play.
Adoptive Sibling Incest: While the show dropped Vanya/Diego as a pairing, Luther/Allison is still very much in play. Unlike in the comics, where I always got the impression the mutual feelings were the result of two fucked up people being fucked up, the show just kind of doesn’t seem to care that they were raised as siblings? So it can definitely be icky. It’s at its worst in episode six, but it’s scattered throughout the last 2/3 of the show.
Drug use: Klaus is still the junkie we know and love, and while the drug use isn’t as graphic as it has been in the comic, it’s still there.
