I just found this out like a minute after finishing my shower, basically forcing me to take a bath, and then a shower again, but when you’re in the shower, love your hands, semi-roughly/firmly against your skin like your legs or stomach. There was so much dead skin clinging to my body, and I only revealed more but the more I firmly scrubbed with my hand. I had to extend my shower for a bit longer and include a bath just to get it all off.

I did not realize that you can get rid of the dead skin in the shower until this moment, so yeah, please make sure you firmly scrub your body with your hands when in the shower, get the dead skin off you

I’m making this, especially for the Nero divergent people on this platform because I know for a fact, we have a bit of a love-hate relationship when it comes to hygiene. Don’t put it off, trust me it’ll feel better.

i just had a shower ! when's the last time you had a shower ? did you know you don't have to wash anything in a shower for it to have been productive ? usually i wash my hair cuz it looks weird if it gets wet but not clean, but my body doesn't get very dirty itself, and it's a lot easier.

if you struggle with having showers or taking a long time, try having a list ! my list is this, for reference:

turn on the water to the temperature you like, wait for it to warm, and then get in and get wet !

put shampoo in and wash it out

put conditioner in

make sure your head doesn't go under the water

wash your body [i try to make sure i get behind my ears and in between my toes ! they can grow stuff :/ ]

wash off the conditioner [usually the body wash will wash off with this]

[extra step] stay in the water and slowly turn it colder so that when i step out of the shower it doesn't feel like i'm stepping out into winter.

step out and dry off [or dry off and step out; i usually dry while in the shower so that when i step out i don't have wet feet that get sticky and get stuff on them]

hope this helps or motivates you !! without my list i used to take half an hour showers, now i can do it in less than ten minutes !!! that's just my personal times and i understand for some people it takes longer, just try to do what you can !! if all you can handle is getting undressed and sitting under the water for a bit, that's okay ! you're doing great then too !
