I just found out that this weekend is my IHSA debut.
This means I'm missing Halloween weekend here but I think my friends will be just fine without me here.
It's also my first show since Captain left. More than anything, I need that big goofy paint here to reassure me that it's okay and I'll be fine. I'm not even jumping this show, I'm doing flat classes (which are my weak points...yikessss...)
Because it's an IHSA show, I literally get on a new horse, go into the ring, and show. No warm-up time, no nothing. But, I'll be fine because my team will be there with me.
Relax.
