While mukbangs, or eating broadcasts, have gained viral attention all over the world, another type of Korean food video has become even more successful. 

With more than 1.7 million followers on Facebook and over 100,000 subscribers on YouTube, Korean model and video star Showry has become one of the most successful online stars in Korea, seemingly overnight. Rather than eating food on camera, however, Showry uses food in a completely different way. Starting most of her videos off with some simple dancing, she’s been known to surprise fans with increasingly disturbing yet erotic ways of playing with food, including kissing raw fish, licking raw chicken, and covering herself with blended food.
