I turned a yarn bowl for my mom as a Christmas present. Was 90% done before I did something STUPID on the band saw and ruined the brown AND almost cut off a thumb. Fixed the bowl with epoxy and walnut splines. Learn a couple of hard lessons, returned it, and it was under the tree this morning. Tacked together another 8-cubby small parts bin. Mistakes were made. I got over zealous with the dado saw and cut too many slots. Oops. Hat rack installed in the closet. Space for 30 ball caps and 10 flat/Yorkshire hats. Need to fill holes and paint. Wife happy that hats are no longer strewn about the house.
