From this wip game
Here’s a little snippet:
Kal scrambles off the counter. “Fuck! The rolls!”
Shepard sits up as his feet hit the floor. “What about them?”
“They’re gonna be cold—”
Nihlus catches Kal around the waist and tugs his back against his chest. “Already taken of, gorgeous.”
Kal tilts his head back. “Yeah?”
“Yeah, put them back in the oven so they’ll stay warm. Figured you two would get distracted,” he teases.
Both of Kal’s arms raise to pull Nihlus down for another kiss.
Sour apple baby has me intrigued lol
this is my nihlus/jenn/kal or shreegalicious (their ship name lol) project spanning 2, 3 and then post war. I don't have a lot written for this (yet) but some of what I have is:
“Shepard,” Nihlus whines. She grunts, feeling him hug her closer. “One thing for Kal to leave, another for you. Made the bed cold.” Personal space heater, right. She rolls her eyes, laying a hand on one of Nihlus that are around her stomach. “Sorry, babydoll.” She rubs his hand with a thumb. She feels Nihlus rest his head against hers. Together they silently watch Kal as he paints the landscape. He’s doing one of his challenges where he blends the painting into the landscape and from the angle she’s at, he’s doing a pretty good job. His hand moves in confident strokes.

Shepard gives a sleepy grin, and then says, “didn’t mean to scare you. At least you didn’t scream.” She steps into the closet, hand reaching for Nihlus’ hip. She slides it around him, pulling him in for a hug. With a little hum, she settles against him.
In turn, he wraps his arms around her shoulders and back, ducking his head toward her even though he won’t reach unless he bends. He leans back against the workbench, keeping her with him. “Hey, baby.”
