Omg @dcheung_ and @shejustsays ‘s wedding was so cute! I wish you were there to hear Pastor James share their story ahahas it was fantastic and so funny! . Here’s a short version: Derek and Shejia didn’t have very much in common, but Shejia was super into kdramas so Derek started watching them to have something to talk about (cute) He also would take screenshots of diff scenes to show her where he was in the kdrama so they could talk about whats happening & update her etc . The thing is, Derek is super into anime but Shejia was hella against it 👎 UNTIL SHE GAVE IT A TRY AND NOW SHE’S LIKE HELLA WEEB 🙌 AND WATCHES A BUNCH OF ANIME NOW LOLOLOLOLOL (I approve 👍👍👍) . PJ told it way better than I did but I think this is such a great depiction of their love for each other - they’re willing to try new things, even things they’re not interested in, to get to know each other on a deeper level and I think that’s really sweet ^-^ .
