(  @shriffs​  )    what happened to you when you were out there? 

her smile isn’t really a smile, it’s more of a tick she does when she can’t say exactly how she’s feeling. maggie’s head shake; this is where she can let go, she thinks. this is a place for her to feel, to really feel it all out — but she’s not ready, not entirely. 

what happened to her when she was out there? nothing. nothing extraordinaire happened to maggie while she traveled to this destination. everything that happened to her, happened before, moments before and she was just now realizing that it had been a lot. it just had been… so much. so much for it to sink in completely, so much for her to understand one thing while ten more where happening right as she took a breather to think.

               tara   is   NERVOUS,   because   only   a   few   short   days   ago   she   was   technically   the   ENEMY.      she’d   been   with   those   people   who   attacked   the   prison,   been   with   brian   because   the   story   he   told   was   FAR   DIFFERENT   than   reality.      just   because   glenn   had   helped   her,   and   she   helped   him   in   return,   didn’t   mean   she   had   an   IN   with   these   people.      tara   would   consider   it   MORE   THAN   FAIR   if   the   leader   decided   she   WASN’T   WORTHY   of   sticking   around.      ❝   i   know   i   don’t   really   have   the   place   to   do   so,   but   i   just   want   to   explain   that…      i   had   NO   IDEA   what   we   were   getting   ourselves   into.      he   spun   a   tale   that   was   far   different   from   reality,   and   i   just   wanted   to   say   I’M   SORRY   that   i   was   even   a   part   of   it.   ❞
